Gut feeling that Davis ends up at Auburn with all of the activity and commits with other WRs for both UGA and us.

Davis is top WR target. Johnson commits means nothing to that recruitment. It means more to a Swain type recruitment that a Davis type

Granted the starting points are different. But I look at Hunter pulling Tee Higgins aboard and I see Jarrett and I'm like:

"Your move, Jarrett"

Pull in Kyle and you might have a leg up on Hunter. They have good rapport and I think it will happen. But then again I'm like this guy sometimes....

Tee was coming regardless. He just announced earlier because of Hunter.

This list doesn't include a guy like Kyle Davis, who as of Thursday was a still possibly going to make it in this weekend. While we've said for a while this has been a Tennessee, Georgia battle, we've gathered from several places Auburn has made a very strong surge recently and they are very much a team to watch with Davis moving forward.

Very possible IMO. I also think these big time recruits are going to need to see accomplishments on the field eventually. All of this talent is going to have to equate to big time wins.

For all the guys (butchna) who were questioning me when I said Auburn was likely gonna land Davis (as it now stands, things can change yet again):

Per Fortenerry in th VQ War Room today, he wouldn't be surprised if Davis commits to Auburn based on recent "sources" info. I said this early last week. Three weeks ago UT and UGA were the definite leaders. Fortenberry basically just said the exact same thing.

It's a little annoying when people question you when your track record is solid and there's zero hard info to suggest that what you're saying isn't true. But I guess now that it's on VQ a week later it's legit info? Lol
