After watching the offense again, I'm a little concerned for Kerbyson against the elite pass rushers he'll face.

Thanks Elf, no intention of doing any wagering, but never have understood why -6 means you are favored to win and +6 I'm assuming means the other team is favored to win. Seems backwards to me, but that's irrelevant!

What is the most trusted online betting site?

My favorite is 5dimes. Quick payouts, can bet money line on big spreads (obviously low payout on each individual game) with a 25 game parlay max. I almost always bet money line so I like when I can include several low risk/high spread games (you have to be very careful to avoid the occasional huge upset -- such as Portland St over Wazzu St this past weekend; that spread was -31.5 pts -- thankfully I avoided). 5dimes is one of the highest rated sites. They also accept bitcoin deposits and payouts, which is important if you play with a lot of money because it's not as easily traceable by the IRS (at least not yet). Of course, you take risk with the value of the virtual currency when you use this as your deposit/withdrawal method, which I do now almost exclusively.

I also use bovada.lv but they have really clamped down on heavy bettors. They review each bet and don't open up the money lines until right before the games, so it's hard to bet with less risk using them. Many of the games they don't even offer money lines -- such as the Ohio St game tomorrow (at least, not yet). They are usually A rated though (meaning quick payouts and strong history of not slow paying).

I also use sportsbook.ag and wagerweb. Both are fairly well rated and I've had good experiences with them.

I've also had terrible experiences before. Two years ago I was slow paid and that made the difference in my season (continued betting into basketball season as I waited for payouts that were very limited and lost a lot of money, although I have to take part of the blame for continuing to bet). I will never use that site or an affiliate again.

All in all, I use four sites. If you bet sizeable amounts you must use multiple sites (learned that lesson too). I started a betting thread a few years back but it got moved to a forum that had little traffic so I stopped posting my bets/thoughts. I am basically a handicapper at this point and probably will remain one for the forseeable. That said, I would not recommend sports betting for a majority of people, as it is a roller coaster of an experience and can definitely take away some of the fun in watching sports. I've just learned too much to stop now and, although I have my occasional (I'm looking at you Stanford and UCF), I have become decent enough to usually make it worth my while. It takes patience if you play an entire season though.

Most (and perhaps you) just like betting a hundred or two on an occasional game or two. If that is your goal, I would recommend 5dimes.

Never, and I mean never, use a site rated lower than a C! I stick with B's and A's. Every site has its positives and negatives but if you play with under $1k you'd be hard pressed to make a poor decision on what site to use (but stick with A's and B's).

Sportsbook Ratings - Guide to the Best and Worst Betting Sites

Last piece of advice, be weary of the bonus offers. If it includes a rollover (where you have to put a certain amount of money at risk before you can withdraw) than avoid a bonus like the plague. I rarely accept a bonus. Sportsbook.ag offers a 25%-30% bonus on Thursdays. That bonus isn't a rollover and is essentially free money. That's the best bonus I've found.

Oklahoma opened as a 3 point favorite but it already moved to Tennessee a 1 point favorite.

As someone who bets on CFB, I can confidently say that 99% of the people betting tonight are sharps (pros). That's good news.

I noticed this too. It actually makes me a bit more willing to take a bet or two on the money line in favor of UT, seeing the sharps move the line in our favor.

The sharps aren't always right though. I'm suspicious of the line move on Michigan St over Oregon (started as a pick em and now -3 MSU).

I may just avoid both games, as there are plenty of other safer bets.

Somebody with football knowledge make me feel better about our D.

Watch the video Freak put together. D-line was incredibly vanilla (maybe four stunts/misdirections all game - i understand with a quick release you have less time for stunts, but it was a ton of just beat your man), and we still got pressure. Unfortunately, their QB was just on target. Maybe we played tight on the receivers to hopefully give the dline a little more time to get to the QB, but the QB just started lofting deep and letting his receivers run to it. The way he kept dropping it in felt like a video game honestly.

Maggit needs to be on the line hitting the backfield not as an LB...he is focused on the backfield and got caught looking in a couple of times rather than staying with his man. He's a huge asset attacking the backfield (like last season), so hopefully that's his focus this week. Maybe because of the talent we have on the dline now, the coaches are looking to expand his role, but my hope is that they just turn him loose on the QB/RBs.

Outside of JRM and Kirkland's play, the LBs didn't really show up. I think that is where we need to improve the most before next week. On draws and TE dump offs in the flat, we have to be in the area.

TKJR made a huge difference. There were other factors involved, but the team just flat played better when he was on the back end.

Don;t know that any of that helps, but re-watching Freak's video helped me feel much better.

You're basically subtracting points from the favorite. Thus if the line for OK-TN is TN -6 and the final is 23-20 TN, you lose the bet even though Tennessee won.

And sorry...just now saw the "with football knowledge" line...I have none of that.

Mrs. Phillips, what's up with this? Not cool.

I cannot say enough about how thrilled I was to watch Tennessee get the ball on the goal line, and then see this...

Josh Dobbs under center
Jalen Hurd coming downhill hard

Beautiful.

I know I'm late but I just had to post my thoughts after watching Freaks' videos. Man Jumper has to go. I know his story is a great one and I'm glad he got his chance in sun. But now it's time to win games. There were times out there where he was running around without a clue. And he was extremely hesitant. When you don't have the athletic ability to cover it up, you can't be thinking about your first move. It has to be reactionary. Read and react. Little time for thinking. I'm much more comfortable living with Kirkland's mistakes if I can get his athleticism on the field.

Randolph played the worst game I've seen from him in .... Maybe ever. With that said, I think Willie being out may have a had an impact on the secondary (DUH) lol. Abernathy will be a good one but I hope like hell Martin is ready next week. I still don't understand why we played so much press coverage.

Cam is every bit the player Hargreaves is. No question. It's a joy watching him out there on Saturdays.
P.S. - his cousin, Boosie Bad Azz, had a nice IG post about him. Lol.

Would've liked to see more Weatherd. That guy is a head hunter. I wish we had more time to develop him into a true OLB. He could make some money at the next level. A Ryan Shazier type guy IMO.

We will score. A lot.

The DLine pressure was kinda confusing. I tend to agree with the poster that said we were kinda sand bagging. I hope we see more rotation in the tackles. We've got a nice group that could really wear on an OL.

TL;DR. LOL

How about some love for Ethan Wolf? Dude was a boss in run block game and pass game. He made some key blocks on a lot of the runs when I would rewatch runs. On the Hurd 40yd TD run that called back he had the block that opened up the key lane on the outside. Our WR and TE blocking improvement is going to lead to these long TD runs often

Correct. Not touching either game
