Did ya'll hear where Target is now removing the "boys" and "girls" classifications from those departments because some customers complained that it is gender stereotyping? SMDH....this country is turning more and more down the toilet everyday.

Absolutely! As much as people don't want to admit it, I feel praying to our Heavenly Father and asking for His help and long-suffering for our nation is the only way. It's always what is according to His will. :salute:

The exact way that all the powerful nations became great...God allowed it to happen. And in the same way they became great, they were destroyed. America should pay attention, but unfortunately the way things are progressing, we aren't.

We've been studying Nehemiah in SS class as the temple is being rebuilt after the Babylonian exile. Ezra stands above the people as this is about to begin and reads from scripture for 6 straight hours as the people stand and listen. Imagine people today even doing it for 6 straight minutes. lol. Then they all fell on their knees and faces in prayer to humble themselves before Yahweh and ask for his blessing and restoration.

It will take many of us along with a commitment from believing leaders in government to turn this ship around by humbling ourselves and trusting in his promises through our Lord Jesus. A wall in Berlin fell, changing the world for the better when we had a believing Ronald Reagan lead our nation. We need that again as the country has become one of idol worship and falsehood.

Reagan also supported Planned Parenthood during his time, too. In fact majority of republicans did then. Does that bother you that Reagan supported the research from PP to help find a cure in Alzheimer's? Wonder what changed their minds to not support it over the years. Maybe to be more PC to get voter support? Whatever...

After reading a couple of the agreeing posts above your last one, I am curious. What kind of a world would all of you like to live in? Which republican candidates do you favor in the upcoming election? Why do you want your president to be so strongly religious and why that makes him a great candidate to lead the immense diversity of the American people?

I am fascinated by your way of thinking, vol4us, Ogbaby, volssam and others that I read more than post. Were you raised this way? Or did you find religion on your own? There's so many people in the world today that it's progressing aggressively at a rapid pace. It just seems to be so incredibly hard to be conservative now. Do you find yourself judging more people today than ever? I'm just curious. I have no idea what it's like to think and live life your way...

This argument always confuses me. Are you saying that the things happening in this country now are far worse than atrocities like the Trail of Tears and slavery that were going on while the country was growing and developing?

I don't judge...God's word judges and He will use it to judge on that final day. I try to think and live my life the way God commands me to...not because I grew up in religion or whatnot, but because I want to do that. I yearn for being reunited with the Lord, and live on this earth with the hope of a reward for righteous living that is much better than anything in this world.

I just feel that our country is in a downward spiral. Maybe I'm wrong...I hope that I am, and I pray that the people think hard and long in choosing our leaders and our next President.

The implication in a statement like that is that our country is more immoral now than it was during its early years. I would argue that our country had much more serious social issues during its periods of growth than it does now. Also if a nation was required to be Christian in order to thrive, the large majority of historic dynasties would have never happened.

Not that I don't understand the trajectory Target's decision has set itself on, they've only decided to takedown gender specific signage. Not co-mingle toys and clothes for kids....

I'm not sure I can live in a country who elects Donald Trump. Hell, I'm not even sure I want to be involved in a country where someone like him is a serious candidate.

It is good...best in the Metroplex anyway. Biscuits are excellent.
