Video shows teen jumping on car before police arrived

Now, just from watching the video, IDK what went on with this incident, but one interesting thing that they said in the video is that before the Arlington police will investigate the officer, they give him 2 sleep cycles to make sure he has a clear mind and a good story. Now that is interesting... how much time between the shooting and the interrogation do most street level criminals get? 2 days is enough time for anybody to create a story and rehearse it the interrogation.

Cops just do things that make them look suspicious... even in a case like this where it may look like they could get the public behind them.

They could very easily not enforce stupid laws that violate the Bill of Rights, but no... they crack skulls and slam bodies for not walking on the sidewalk and driving with busted taillights.

Police really do blow opportunities every day to win the support of the people they serve by just being less aggressive in some of these petty infractions and actually brought the heat when it was justified.

The guy needed to be charged.....you can't set up shop outside a courthouse and try to influence jurors....that's ridiculous.

You would be suspicious no matter what police protocol said....the guy was breaking into cars and drove his car through the front of the dealership...... Maybe the cop did something wrong but it was more than likely justified based on limited evidence we know so far.....maybe details will come out that say different but we will see.

They said it was policy so Im sure I was a psych recommendation on when the best time is to interview someone after a shooting. In the mean time, they are doing forensics and probably interviewing the other witnesses.

Do they get their 48 hours to get their minds/story in order?

What makes an eyewitness account more accurate immediately after an incident, but the actual suspect needs 2 sleep cycles?

Just calling it a police policy isn't enough... the policy is flawed or highly suspicious.

Ianicelli is charged with tampering with a jury, a felony in Colorado that carries a minimum bond of $5,000. He was charged by the Denver District Attorney for seven counts of tampering, and has since bailed out of jail. That is a very loose interpretation of jury tampering when the information he was giving out was general info and not info specific to one case or another. You and the DA are reaching.

To you they are highly flawed and suspicious....some don't agree with that. Im guessing but I would assume it has to be with it being a traumatic event to the person involved in the shooting. Have you ever been involved in management....Policy is set by medical personal(psychologists) and the companies legal/risk team.

Jurors are not allowed cell phones, newspapers......allowed to go back inside their house to feed a family pet. Im sure some idiot set up on court house steps is not going to be allowed.

Again, is it policy for other witnesses or suspects to be given a 2 sleep cycle delay before they are interrogated... or is this only granted to the cops?

It is not that hard of a question.

If I'm a homeowner that discharges my weapon during a home invasion and kill someone, do I get a 48 hour break to collect my mind and thoughts before I'm interrogated?

I have no idea.....never shot anyone but I do know how human resources work.....Its not a ploy to get cops off...

It wasn't a recommendation from psych. I mean I'm sure they bought off some psychiatrist to say it's what was needed. It was strong-armed by the police unions I'm sure.

And of course if 48 is the best time then why don't civilians get the same luxury?

Bought off? any more conspiracy theories....they brought in the FBI....why would they do that if they were trying to get him off? The forensics will either match his story it or it wont.

Had a close call yesterday afternoon.

I was mowing the front of my place. Was cruising along on the tractor with a beer in my hand listening to iheart radio when a cop (county) drove by.

That's it.....

Think about how ridiculous it would be if me and a buddy were involved in a shooting and when the police showed up I could be like... Listen. We're not gonna talk about what happened right now. We'll come to the station day after tomorrow and talk about it. And even though him and I were the only two witnesses and there's zero safeguard against him and I completely corroborating our stories, we promise we won't.

It's just one of the many the things government manages to pull off that would never in a million years work anywhere else.

What would happen would be that my buddy and I would be separated and interrogated by police. There's a decent chance we'd be pitted against each if it suits the detectives and/or the DA's cause. And we certainly wouldn't be going home until either cleared or posting bond if charged and even given bail.

Lol... Juries are sequestered in like exceptionally high profile cases or when the judges has real evidence to support that one side might be tampering. In 99% of cases the jurors go home, if the trial last more thenone day, on the honor system.
