Would feel so much better about our OL had Dontavius Blair lived up to his billing. Man, what is the deal with him?

Did anyone see or know if the drill has a snap count only the OL know, like in a real football game? I don't think there was. Not saying the outcome would have been different, but I'd like to see the coaches simulate a real game in those drills.

One caveat for our oline is that IF DeBord installs some triple option looks and or 2 rb sets the amount of road grading they'll have to do could be somewhat minimal. We've had an NFL quality pass pro line and still had poor results. This year with the scheme and other weapons we just need serviceable blocking. Last year tenacity and knowledge were our biggest issues. Those are things easily addressed with practice and the experience they've already gotten.

An example would be Richmond if he is as strong already as it seems. By middle of year he could maybe be that LT we need.

I'm mobile so it won't let me copy/paste but someone in FF VP thread posted Hubbs latest VP update on of 221 of the thread. It sounds like we will find out today and Butch will have a statement. VP will also be expected to address his teammates and vice versa

Hyams on 104.5

Von - expect him reinstated maybe today by school. Was botched by University as compared to Williams.
He has been in town but will be slightly out of shape. Has enough time if reinstated this week to get full speed.

With addition of JJ and other recievers can be excellent if healthy.
Asked if JJ is Corey Fleming 2.0; Yes. Will make an almost seamless transition to WR. Fluid athlete with knowledge of offense.

PW - Should retake test early next week. Results almost immediate.

OL battles - Said expects Crowder to hold center spot. Not best athlete but knows the offense.

Kerbeson - likely holds LT

Drew battling for RT

Blair likely LT backup.

Thomas unlikely to be gaurd.

Talent - passes eye test

Kmac - unbelievable thighs looks like a man among boys. Expected to start and help.

Looks part more than any team going back to Kiffin's team.

On #2 QB - Dormady has maybe best arm of all QB's. Has good speed and is mobile. Jones is athletic but ways to go to catchup. Needs to expedite both their progress because we typically need second QB in season.

Dobbs #2 behind Prescott in league.

Dobbs has chance to break UT records if he can play most of season.

Last year when Dobbs was QB UT avgd 208 in rushing. Something to consider when worried about oline.

Barnett is motivated. Motivated by Garret talk.

Martin may start opposite of Moseley.

On Arian Foster - keep your mouth shut. I don't take stock in what he says. Don't expect him at practice again.

Will practice at 3:15. Saturday at 3:50. 2 a day on 8/11 & 13th.

On Sirius 91 college football radio just now, they were comparing Arkansas v. Tennessee this year. The hosts, Ian Fitzsimmons, said that Tennessee is like the prom queen and is all glitz and glamour but not something substantial that you would want to take home to mom. Houston Nutt chimed in and agreed that we did not have anything on the lines other than Derek Barnett, especially in the interior D line. He said we would have a lot of guys playing that nobody has heard of.

They gon learn.

Such disrespect.

Disappointing to hear about the OL. You can only get so much improvement out of the same bodies, especially if most of those bodies weren't freshmen.

Agree. Hopefully the competition from young guys will raise the bar at a few positions.

Just shows how little some guys prepare to do their jobs. When your job is commenting on sports or sports teams then you should study the teams not just wing it. Forget for a second that every recruiting service and team knew who Mckenzie and Tuttle were and focus simply on "other than Derek Barnett." So Curt Magitt apparently is someone nobody has heard of as well? All those statements do is show their ignorance

Man...I'm not used to having this many good athletes on a football team. I've forgotten what it's like.

This team makes me feel like on of those late 80's-early 90's teams. Truly talented, but maybe a few years out from really making noise. We are on the cusp of a 90's style run.

Watch that video again.

Janacek (sp) jumps on Thig after KM destroys. They know what they have

My favorite is the guy standing down the line from Thig. Bigger black guy in an orange jacket and orange hat.

Watch his reaction as that rep takes place.

That guy is all of us.

If i get time today I might try to gif it. His reaction was perfect.

Thought that was Willie Martinez?
