And Eric is in Charleston, SC. Info from afar.

Pays to have friends in the know back in Gods Country.

This really has played out to a T to what my friend who's very involved with the situation said would happen last weekend.

You are seeing the public messages from Vons Lawyer and letting it drag to where people are almost feeling sympathetic for Von so the PR hit of him coming back is nonexistent. From day one when I posted Sunday I said Friday evening announcement and him practicing Sat so that's still what I expect.

And like I said yesterday it is my understanding that Von and his attorney are in on this plan with the coaches and are well aware of the Universities PR concerns.

If you think JJ is going to contribute as a WR this year you are extremely optimistic. He will be on ST mostly and MIGHT see garbage time. Hes a great athlete dont get me wrong and tons of potential but he wont be ready this year.

I said 6 and you could put 9 names on this list. My point was we have a lot of options to put 3 studs on the field.

Man something really seems off. No reason he shouldn't be cleared. Coffey needs to stay after it. The school should have been prepared for the DA's decisions one way or the other.

And his point about Michael Williams is the nail in the coffin.

I really think this is just a little extra posturing and process by UT because of the federal case. I do think he will be playing and soon.

Gruden: Tennessee is a dream job for a lot of people including myself but the timing was wrong and I'll say they got the right guy.

He also said he believes we will run the table this year.

What does he mean by run the table? Win the East or what? I mean I'm not entirely comfortable with all these predictions of winning the East to begin with. Surely he doesn't mean more? I'm asking because I keep hearing others say they heard we could do this or that (I'm talking non-Vol fans saying we could go 10+ or even all the way and I don't know where they're getting that from).

Thanks for all your info...

Lawyer Chris Coffey putting the heat on UT. Good.

It relieves the university of pressure and gives them cover from any resulting backlash if Von's attorney makes it look like we've gone too far in not yet lifting his suspension and that the university needs to reinstate him at once. Enough heat and public opinion behind VP and it makes the university's decision a lot easier. It's helpful to both Von and the Admin for it to play out this way.

Tuttle and KM just crushed their opponents. I believe that was Blair lined up on KM.

Edit: Blair was standing in front looking at that poor soul getting man handled

#51 on offense looked to hold his own.
