I'm watching the DB drills. Sutton my boy and all but Martin is the most naturally talented CB on the roster. If he starts(I expect him to), then he will have a huge season. Teams better not get to 3rd and long against us. This is a dangerous team we have this year. :)

I'll take Moseley and Foreman as backup corners all day.

Y'all are upset about the wrong quote. The last quote has Spurrier written all over it...

In a couple of years, I wouldn't be surprised to see them win 9 games.

That's exactly what I thought. It pissed me off the most and why I posted the link. Spurrier's been talking smack like that since the 90's.

Glad to see Hubbs being optimistic about a 2-3 day window for Von's reinstatement.

Are you at practice or watching a periscope somewhere?

I'm not sure the University can find a way to justify Michael Williams continuing his education and not letting Von continue his.

My best guess:

Regarding code of conduct cases someone usually has to present a charge to the university. IOW, no one pressed a case against Williams at the university so the university doesn't get involved there but someone did present a case against Von at the university.

Point blank: We've heard this all started with various Greeks. One of them, likely the alleged victim, presented a conduct charge to the university as well as the police. Greek students are far more likely to be involved in student government and often handle minor conduct cases so they know it's there and are far more likely to present a conduct or honor code violation.

When either a crime or Honor Code Violation occurs involving university students, the victim (or whoever depending on the case) can present a case to UT as well as the police. They can also simply do one or the other or nothing at all.

One other thing, misconduct charged in Von's case doesn't necessarily have to be rape (although it probably is). It can technically be anything that violates university policies.

*This is just a guess based on knowledge of UT's system. Admins will determine whether or not Von's reinstated based on what is presented to them.

My guess is they take a few days to officially clear him through internal processes. Pay lip service to an internal review being distinct to a legal one - ensures they follow their own processes in light of this federal investigation and so on.

Coleman Thomas is physically impressive. If he mentally can catch up with Mack Crowder, that situation will be very fun to watch unfold and ultimately make the Vols much better.

Thank you Hubbs

Running backs are impressive, even in non-pad workouts. Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara are obviously head and shoulders above the rest of the group, but John Kelly has looked quick in agility drills.

With no pads on the skill players really have a chance to shine, particularly the wideouts. One guy who is starting camp under a microscope is Josh Malone and if tonight's work is any clue, he seems to be responding to the pressure.

The sophomore definitely looks the part and he caught everything thrown his way tonight during passing drills with the quarterbacks. Malone is such a fluid athlete that with so many obvious gifts that it's hard to imagine him not putting it all together at some point. At the very least he seems to be coming out of the gates strong.

NS COMIN’: Jones yelled on his practice microphone during the team’s stretching period that redshirt freshman guard Charles Mosley wants a piece of freshman defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie during the Tennessee Drill during Thursday’s first practice in shells. That confrontation would feature approximately 700 pounds of mammal. That should be fun.

Oh wow.

700 lbs of mammal. Lol & Wow.

That's the equivalent of an:
