Also means Foreman stays on defense now. Which is a good thing. What a lineup now. North, Pearson, Pig, Malone. This offense can be damn good. Please step up OL..

It def makes the Williams test issue easier to swallow.

Redshirting him would actually be a huge bonus( even though he likely will only be around 3-4 total years anyway at the most) and with JJ at WR and Von back we really are fine there.

So, looking at our schedule this season....I do not see a game where I would definitely chalk it up as a loss for the Vols. Is it just me with my orange shades on sipping on that kool aid? Or do some of you feel the same?

Our schedule sets up really nicely this year.

So, from a legal standpoint, and I will be corrected if I misstate something, the DA will indict if, based on the evidence, it is reasonable for an investigator to believe a crime was committed. By saying "insufficient evidence," she legally means that based on the evidence, interviews, and all available information, it is UNREASONABLE (based on a reasonable persons standard) in their capacity as investigators and attorneys, to believe a crime was committed by Von.

Something I posted in the Von thread. Thought I'd share here if people have any legal-ese questions regarding the DA's statement.

Edit: I'll also add this.

It's very different from a trial. This is not a case where there was "insufficient evidence" to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. It's literally saying there is insufficient evidence so say it's reasonably possible a crime was committed.

We're gonna win the National championship and be invited by the NFL to play the winner of the Super Bowl to crown the champion of champions.

I always thought a DA would call off the dogs if they think they'll lose the case. It seems to me like not pressing charges just means the DA is saying I can't prove it to a jury, so I'm not going to waste everyone's time. They may still think the crime was committed they just don't have enough proof.

If they thought it was reasonable a crime was committed based on the evidence, they would attempt to prove it to a jury and press charges.

By not indicting due to insufficient evidence, the legal "bucket" they are putting the case in so to speak is that there is not enough evidence to believe there is a reasonable possibility a crime was committed.

We've got as many defensive playmakers as anyone. What are they looking at? Every level has an elite player on it.

Some have several. Martin and Sutton; Barnett, Kmac and Maggit; JRM at LB. TKjr and Brian Randolph in the back end. If you want proven, remove two. That leaves six which is half the defense still. Guy is a moron. Probably Mason.

This has been known for awhile. Code of conduct or some BS like that.

Cleared if charges should be cleared by the school

But didn't someone on the radio or twitter say he's likely to be at practice tonight?

Calling VN investigators:

I'm on a place from Atlanta to Chicago, and 3 massive dudes just got on the plane. Pretty obvious they are some sort of professional football players.

One was wearing a UT shirt.

Anybody know why 3 NFL players would be flying commercial, one a VFL, from ATL to ORD?
