Trying to get the Knoxville PD to do something quickly and efficiently is like pulling teeth....

Or killing a lion....

potato/potahto....

It may be the TBI they're waiting on.

It's exceedingly difficult to prove that somebody didn't commit a crime. If you think about it, that's the premise behind "innocent until proven guilty." A mere accusation and the barest of corroborating evidence is enough to keep the case rolling.

Vols featured in SlingTV ads. Thinking I might pay the $20/month to sign up, seems like a great deal and possibly the future of TV.

The TBI would not have gotten involved unless KPD or the DA requested them to be or unless there's physical evidence that they're waiting to come back from the lab.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Hey, Officer Lebanon. You need to arrest these cable companies for not extending broadband internet farther out.

We're looking to move somewhere in Wilson Co. Somewhere with a few acres to spread out and have a little privacy. But not too far out. But we are having trouble because I require hardwired internet for my residence to get work done. And it is crazy how many places are not serviceable around lebanon and mt juliet. I mean it's 2015 for crying out loud.

Shhhh... :)

If you're looking for less expensive land, Watertown is your best option. Pretty much anywhere in MJ is going to be high, even Gladeville has gone up.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I just cancelled Comcast. I currently don't have anything, including Internet.

Any suggestions on Internet? I canceled Comcast because we use a lot of data. We went over the 300 MB limit every month, and I just can't afford that. I was going to switch to AT&T, but I was misled. I thought it would be unlimited, but it has a cap of 250 MB. We stream a lot of TV, so that's why our data usage is high. Anyone have suggestions on Internet? I have a HD Antenna, and it does a nice job for TV, but there's a lot of football I'll miss out on. Maybe once I find a good Internet provider I'll check out this Sling TV

"Even gladeville". You elitist. That's where I am now and love it.ha Just want more land. Or at least my wife does.

We are ok with gladeville/watertown/lebanon/laguardo/Tucker's crossroads. Anywhere that fits what we are looking for

I use Comcast also and thought they were not enforcing the 300MB limit. Not sure I've ever gone over that, but I just started telecommuting 100% this week so we will see how that changes things since I'll be on VPN all day. I'm on the Left coast so it might be different out here.

I don't have cable TV, gave it up 2+ years ago so I stream pretty much everything already.

Lol, I hung out in the Glade growing up...

The issue you'll run into with TC and Watertown is internet availability, or at least speeds that are up-to-par by today's standards. Land? TC and Watertown is pretty country.

You can buy blocks of 50 GB for $10 each block over the 300 GB limit from Comcast. You use, you pay. There is no such thing as unlimited use. For those that advertise this, the download speeds slow considerably after a certain usage. I would rather pay a little more and get more data.

We went over 3-4 times per month. We stream a lot of Netflix. Don't watch cable TV. So we paid $40 base plus $30-40 extra per month. That is just too much for Internet only. I'm looking for other options. AT&T has a 250 GB plan. It is less, but run from fiber optic; so, I wonder if the data is added differently? We had home security with Comcast too, and it ran off Internet. I would call and ask them for an allowance to run home security, but their customer service is awful. Nobody could tell me anything about my usage. One mont we were gone for a week on vacation, and turned our mobile phones off wifi, cut back on TV, and still went over 100 GB. I think something was wrong with either the usage on the home security, or something else. From what the reps at AT&T say, it is unlikely that I would ever use the 250 GB.

Hmm. I must be in a market that is still under the suspension of data limits.

Does this mean you're going to stop cutting people off who exceed your allowance?

Comcast customers are able to log into their accounts and check data usage. It is relatively easy to do. Your internet use offsets your video use, so if you have video on your account you should cancel video and go ip streaming only - but, of course you will pay more for the extra bandwidth.

RIP Roddy Piper.

Dude...no. Not only a great "wrassler" but starred in arguably the best bad movie, "They Live".

Kinda funny all the talk of having trouble with different newcomers(disciplinary and academically) and none of it dims the future of this season. Butch has done an outstanding job of building quality depth in his first 3 years. I'm confident in all of our returning guys. Can't wait for practice to start! GO VOLS!!!!!!! :)

watch out, BB! some will freak out and act like Kyle Oliver was going to be all-sec this yr. Even though he was going to be the 5th or 6th TE lol

So it appears Jr is going to get beat out for the starting job at Kicker.

He has secured the starting role of punter though.

There is a phenomenal Freshman kicker trained by Wilhoit that has been better. He's not too upset and continues to work hard. Can't really be upset when someone has more talent.

In a related note... James Wilhoit has this state LOADED with talented kickers. He has gone into the Middle Schools now. Varsity kickers better work their butt off because you never know if one of these kickers will show up.

Punters are important too...tell Jr. to keep his head up and keep working hard. That's all he can control

Petition to change last name to Colquitt? Never hurts to have a punter who can also place kick when needed.

I'd give up internet for land so long as I had my phone. Love Mt. Juliet but it doesn't have affordable land and rolling hills like I like. Now that I work here I've thought about moving out to Smith County or east Wilson Co.
