I didn't see anything overly negative about what Strange wrote. He's right - any loon who believes this equipment is going to somehow help us beat UF or UGA this year is...just that. It looks great and I know the fans and players alike eat it up but that's the extent of it.

Who's ever intimated that this gear will make plays for our team? No one SERIOUSLY has. It's like telling someone excited about their new car "If you think that car is going to make you head of your department...you're a LOON"

I have yet to hear a fan say that we are going to beat Florida or Georgia because of Nike. Like the previous poster said, KNS just likes to throw a wet blanket over anything good that happens around here. For Strange to take the time to write a story saying that Nike won't help the Vols beat a particular team is ridiculous and unnecessary. He's the same guy who openly makes fun of the Vols on Twitter anytime they are getting blown out.

But who's saying new unis are going to help anybody beat anybody? IMO, this would have been a prime opportunity to take the high road and let the players and fans enjoy the reveal without introducing negativity into it. Saying you don't want to rain on someone's parade, then making a concerted effort to do exactly that, accomplishes... what?

What an ahole article.

No, the equipment itself will not equal more wins.

Yes having Nike will attract athletes that would not come because of Adidas. Those athletes may be the difference in winning a game.

Articles like this would eliminate any exposure to information coming from the AD. I wouldn't tell KNS anything if I were Butch.

U may not like adidas & thats fine but dont act like NIKE makes all this original for each team. U can look at college & pro jerseys by nike & find the exact same style & layout as what we saw today.
Im as happy as anyone about the change to nike but a lot of great games happened in those adidas unis so I for one say thanks for the memories & I cant wait to make some new ones
