I like the matte helmets. As long as they don't do chrome I'm good.

Chrome would be an embarrassment for us. We don't need that.

Matte white is nice. Keeps the helmet from looking "off white" in certain lighting.

You're over-thinking it. That's the decals we've always used.

........they keep them in the equipment room.

Well I'm sure just anybody could mosey into the equipment room and grab a stack of decals.

Well..... At least we know there is a good chance Nike shoes will have a swoosh. I think Lost was more revealing.

Don't read too much into it. It was done by a friend of a former equipment manager. They had access to the decals. It's been out there on Twitter for awhile, since at least last season.

I don't know. Companies like for schools to have white/team color cleats because they show off custom designs better than black and white or black/team color, which helps at retail. I assumed UT would stay in white because of that, so I never really asked my contacts on that.

The video shows black, but it's possible they don't have a sample of the team color cleats in yet, so they did the video with the generic black they'll likely use for practice.

Then I hope they go with smokey grey or anthracite cleats with some orange in them like we wore with the smokey great unis. Anything but white cleats!

I wonder if they'll keep the checkerboard numbers or ditch them.

Also, it looks like the stripes on the new jerseys will be similar to what we already had.

I truly love/miss the black socks and cleats.
