Really man? If you break the law you're not good?
In this case, no............but lets set a precedent that anyone charged with sensitive information can release it to whomever they want, as long as they thing the USG is doing something bad or illegal. Lets leave it up to that individual to disseminate that information to whomever they feel comfortable.
no. i wouldn't turn him over to the Brits, but that still wouldn't be heroism. the guy stood up for what he believed in, while in China. not heroic. a good thing yes, heroic no. if you have to hide from an action its not heroic.

I don't think that. I think Snowden should be charged and pardoned. In this case, the sensitive info he shared isn't hurting Americans and it checked government overreach. Hero
How about we base it on the information they release, as opposed to your absurd slippery slope.
Like I said earlier, illegally activities typically make contracts void. Here the contract in question (the NDA) was based on him keeping illegal information. Just like how if I had you sign a contract agreeing not to testify against me in a murder, this contract also should be void.
You're trying to DQ him on a technicality. Look at the consequences of what he did for the American people and the risk and sacrifice on his part. You have to DQ him on a technicality cause you got nothing else.
That's not the definition of hero. That's an oddly specific criteria for heroism. Anne Frank hid. Not a hero
And you say I am using a slippery slope.
If he thinks there has been illegal activity by the USG then he is to use the approved avenues that protect whistleblowers. When you go outside that, you have nothing to stand on. You might need to read your "AFI" again on contracts and NDA's.
