I'm honestly just as excited to see the new engine that Bethesda uses, because we'll probably see it in all of their games for the next 10 years.

You watch it? Not impressed by the engine or animations. Still looking forward to the game though.

You guys talking about your dungeons and dragons again?

You sir... know nothing!

Don't take that as an insult, as you probably know a ton of stuff in reality. That is more of an inside joke for us "Dungeons and Dragoners"...

Bethesda isn't really known for their graphical acuity though. Would have been nice if they had made a game that didn't look like it was made 2-3 years ago I'll admit.

For sure. I'll take it as a good thing, my PC will be able to run it.

Congratulations to Jimmy England for being inducted to the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. Jimmy was an All American basketball player at UT from 1968-71. I went to high school with him. He was an incredible shooter. Look up his stats sometime. He is living in Marietta now. I heard that he had some serious health problems when he got older but don't know the details.

Dobbs has to be faster than 4.8 now. And Lebron James is great but also greatly over hyped. MJ himself will tell you that Kobe Bryant was a better player than Lebron. Its not the end of the world kids. He's still right up there in the top 5.

If he wins this series then he is the greatest of all time. Its hard to argue otherwise.

Let's say LeBron is somehow allowed to attend college for one year and picks Tennessee for the 2015-2016 season.

With no other changes to our roster, would we win the national championship?

I think we would not only win it easily but also go undefeated. He would score at least 40+ every night even while getting double teamed and would demand so much attention that at least one of our guys would be open at all times. Probably average a triple double as well.

If he wanted to, he could just drive the lane on every possession and either get an easy layup or get fouled. No one in the college game could stop him under the goal.

Disliked LeBron in Miami. Really came off as arrogant, especially mocking Dirk when he was sick in the Finals a few years, and Dirk proceeded to take the championship.

Now, he seems more down to earth and the storyline of carrying his team with the injuries to his co-stars is intriguing

Agree. He was easy to root against in Miami. Much easier to like him on Cleveland.

I actually prefer the Miami Lebron because I enjoyed rooting against him. Sports need villains.

Lebron is a much better basketball player than Kobe. Kobe would be a better player in a 1v1 pickup game though. Lebron is the better defender, Lebron elevates the play of those around him more, Lebron is a much better distributor of the ball; honestly the only aspect that Kobe is/was better at was offense and when Lebron is hitting his jumper/ mid-range game that isn't true either.

Lebron is still a ways off from MJ though. Winning this series the way he is playing and the gap will close a little, but he still has a ways to go.

Who cares what Jordan thinks? He's minimizing James' impact to cement his own legacy. Jordan was an amazing player but a lousy person. The same can be said for many great athletes (Bonds, Cobb, Williams, etc...).

Lebron James is the most valuable player in the NBA. If you pull him from the Cleveland team right now, they would be a sub-.500 joke. Harden and Curry are great players and huge assets for their teams. James is on a different level, though. Many people allow dislike for James to cloud their reasoning.

Here's a comparison of the current "best player in the league" versus the best players of the past 35 years (best players are IMO, of course). Lebron's numbers compare very favorably...

Bird and Magic's rebound and assist numbers. Wow.

Kobe in his prime would've been eliminated in the first round of the playoffs with this rag tag group Lebron is working with. Kobe only one with absolutely dynamic support.

Look at the Lakers from 2 years ago. That is what Kobe looks like with a bad team around him (draft lottery). Lebron is in another league of dominating similar to MJ, Wilt and Shaq.

There are reasons from the past not to like Lebron. I can still agree that he is the best player in the world and in the top few of all-time. I grew up watching Jordan, so that was in the days that I cared. Jordan wasn't as bad a person that you suggest. He is an egomaniac, just like others you mentioned including Kobe and Lebron. You kind of have to be in that mold in order to be great.

I will admit that a championship this year will greatly enhance Lebron's legacy. As Nick said previously, up until now, it has been difficult to root for him.

Not sure why people act like Lebron is playing with a bunch of scrubs. They aren't superstars but very good players. JR Smith, Shumpert, Delly and Mosgov, Thompson are all very talented. Besides smith the others are just young but have high ceilings. Thompson was a former top pick just 2 yrs ago. The Kevin Love trade never made sense to me. Why trade Wiggins when you already had Thompson. Now the trade will look stupid when Love goes elsewhere and Wiggins continues to grow into a star

Thompson wasn't a top pick. You're thinking of Bennett, another Canadian, who left with Wiggins in the Love trade.

Tristan Thompson was #4 pick in his draft. That's a top pick

Top draft picks in the NBA mean nothing. The NBA only has two rounds and LOTS of players wash out. Talent identification and player development are everything.

And Lebron does play on a mediocre team. They have essentially the same group of players they had last year, with the addition of Kevin Love (who we ALL can agree didn't live up to his contract) ... and Lebron James.

Pre-Lebron
2012-2013: 24-58
2013-2014: 33-49

With Lebron
2014-2015: 53-29

I believe they were 2-10 without him this year as well. I could also talk about the dropoff in Miami when he left.

I'm def not arguing the impact of Lebron. Lebron could play on a team of preschool kids and still make the NBA finals. He is too dominant. However I just personally believe he has a better supporting cast this year than people want to give them credit for. It's not nearly as bad as his original Cavs teams. Golden State is stacked roster wise. This is a team those old CAVs Lebron teams lose to. JR and Shumpert have been much improved since coming to Cavs and being the supporting cast they are. Thompson is only in I believe his 2nd or 3rd yr he so he is only getting better each time out. Delly doesn't look like a scrub to me.
