He beats good OLs and is in the backfield right at 2.5 seconds. Mediocre and poor OLs < 2 seconds. Wouldn't surprise me to see him with several Clowney type backfield hits on RBs this year alone. While Jalen Hurd is going to crush people, you have mistakenly inserted a photo of what Kahlil McKenzie is going to do to opposing OLs.
How tall is Jalen, 6'4-6'4.5? He looked a couple inches taller than Dobbs to me last year. Looked closer to Crooms height to me.
Agreed KB. Even money bet Chubb falls out of Heisman conversation after Hurd outrushes him at Neyland in 2015. Takers?I agree. He looks taller than 6'3 to me. I know they normally give players an extra inch here and there regarding height....I think it's entirely possible that they took one away from Jalen.
I can promise you that Jamal Lewis never played at 245 while at UT. Met him a couple of times while at UT. Of course, he was only 5'11.
No question Hurd looked very thin last year. I'd say 250 is a realistic weight, particularly if he fills out his lower body.
