Reed and Richardson are beastly upfront. Hand was up and down last season.

Ryan Anderson was coming on strong at the end of last seadon.

Mile is the big question. Tim Williams, Foster and Shaun Hamilton have been pushed by 3* Keith Holcombe.

Rashan Evans and Christian Miller should make the rotation.

Saban taking over coaching DB shows the urgency back there.

Kinda funny how some of our fans think we lose to Bama when they don't have a QB, nor a proven RB(Henry is inconsistent), no proven WRs, a solid group up front on defense but only one playmaker on the defense(Ragland), and the secondary is trash again this year. I personally CANT WAIT TO PLAY ALABAMA THIS YEAR!!!! If they thought they had trouble stopping us last year that defense getting rolled up this year.

Hell yeah

Also on Alabama again, those #1 classes are turning out more busts than actually good players. They're more hype than anything. Go watch their spring game and watch ours. Not a whole lot of difference in the two.

Lol wut? Bama is an All-SEC, All-American, and NFL draft pick factory.

In the corporate world in states like Tennessee, a company does not have to give or have a reason to fire an employee. If a person is accused of a sexual crime the company can fire them on the spot. The only option they have is if it gets proven they were not guilty they can file a libel suit against the accuser and collect from them and they can sue for their job back but no guarantee they will get anything. Their name will never get completely cleared though.
Stay out of the fire if you don't want to get burned.

Just because someone gets a not guilty verdict does not mean they didn't commit the crime. Beyond a reasonable doubt does not mean the defendant did not commit the crime. It also doesn't mean they then have a defamation suit because of that not guilty verdict. That's not how it works.

Great play by Sutton to score the TD.

OTOH, I never want to see us run the double reverse in a real game. :shakehead:

Felt like Bajakian was still in the booth. I hope DeBord only called that for entertainment purposes.

If so, it worked...but with a different outcome than he was expecting.

The most impressive thing I saw yesterday was Hurd's speed. Granted it was Bynum but he made him look like he was walking.

Malone has it all. If he can get the mental edge to finish plays he is gonna be a problem.

Sutton is stupid good.

Marquez North looks like he could eat my kids.

Tennessee looks the part again. Butch has changed the mentality in a short time span.

Saw some videos and pictures of the O&W game.

-Dobbs looks great. He has improved a great deal in his technique and accuracy.

-Dormady and Jennings look like they have all the physical tools to be great Qb's.

-Kamara and Hurd look like they're gonna be a force to reckoned with this year.

-Malone had another great spring game but will it translate to a good year? He looks the part physically but will he be there mentally?

- The majority of the WR core looked to be a little rusty.

-The OLine looked better but still far from good. If we just get average Oline play this year though, the offense will improve greatly.

-Depth at LB scares me. The talent is there but just not enough of it.

-Hopefully we have some more RB's besides Hurd and Kamara step up to add some quality depth.

-Cameron Sutton is going to have a ridiculous year. He should have an All-American year.

-Offense playcalling looks alot better so far. DeBord actually goes down the field and doesn't run as many lateral plays.

This is just a spring game, so I take a lot of things with a grain of salt. I will say this team looks like it is going to be a good SEC team. The talent is just night and day from when Butch took over this program. Also, this team looks like the fastest we've had in a while.

Also....guys....I love being a father!! I've never loved a human as much as I love my baby boy, Sutton. The wife is doing great and looks good. I have a whole new admiration for her now. There is nothing like parenthood. Wow!!

All weren't playing yesterday. Lol. D is gonna be so good.

Any doubt Kirkland would be the starter if he was healthy all spring?

neither was obrien who was solid. Hopefully saulsberry is able to give a couple snaps a game. I know thats what he wants to do. But you are right. So much talent.

Obrien played very well last year. Forgot him.

You guys remember the D just a few years against Troy? What a turn around.

He would've had a great shot. Definitely the weakest link on the D at this moment. With the D line talent and depth we have I'm hoping this will take the pressure off the Mike.

This defense has a chance to be one of the best ever. IMO.

I won't miss watching our guys bounce off RBs and WRs, completely whiff on open field tackles, get burned repeatedly in the secondary, give up 4th and long, leave the middle of the field wide open for 40+ yard QB scrambles, and take ridiculously poor angles on ball carriers.

That's what is so concerning. All that and the OL still was bad

Yes it is. I'm more pumped about the defense than the offense honestly.

And don't be shocked if Kirkland is the starter vs BG. He's got the mental part down better than any of the other candidates at mlb.

OL will continue to improve over the summer and into the fall. Richmond, Boulware, and Stewart will increase the competition level and going against Barnett, Maggitt, O'Brien, and Williams will make the starters better.

Absolutely!

Jennings won't play a snap at QB.

Yes! Stay healthy and they'll be great.

Million dollar question.

- The majority of the WR core looked to be a little rusty.

Yeah, too many drops.

I personally saw no improvement but it's early.

-Depth at LB scares me. The talent is there but just not enough of it.

Yeah. MLB is a huge question mark.

Kelly will help some, but you're right. Walk on Sparks won't help much.

-Cameron Sutton is going to have a ridiculous year. He should have an All-American year.

No doubt. Cam is just as good as VHIII.

-Offense playcalling looks alot better so far. DeBord actually goes down the field and doesn't run as many lateral plays.

Hard to say, being a spring game it was so vanilla. Not to mention all the injuries.

Have fun Dad!

Just some thoughts :)

Yeah that's true. Can't wait for those guys to come back. Our DL will be sick, and wit depth! Finally

I don't think the OL will be great by any means, but they also won't go up against many front fours better than ours.

We won't see them shellshocked like they were going into Norman and facing Striker.

You just described south Carolina's defense against us last year.

Kamara has the new guy hype but Hurd is the best player on our offense. He's a special special athlete. He's bigger and faster this year. Straight man child at RB.

Sutton has the look of an All-American physically.

Foreman needs to take the No.2 CB spot and run with it. He's a good looking athlete that needs to clean up some things technically.

Moseley didn't impress me much at CB. Seems to play better coming forward than with his back to the ball.

Evan Berry and TKjr will be a monstrous tandem when they get a chance.

Stephen Griffin is an impressive looking athlete. Hope he stays at safety. He could be a big playmaker with his size and speed.

Wolf looks better at TE.

Dobbs looks much much better at QB.

Dormandy will be a star with the weapons he'll have. Very big upside for him here at QB.

Tuttle will be a difference maker at DT.

Agree on everything.

I think Quinten Dormady will be very special, coaches brought up Aaron Rodgers and I see that skill-set.

Cam Sutton will be a first round draft pick.

Moseley did not have his best game, but he's someone that is very talented. He needs to have a huge summer. Malik Foreman is talented as well, but very inconsistent.

It will be hard to keep Evan Berry off the field, he's developed into a play maker.

Shy Tuttle is very impressive. I see why Haynesworth wants to coach him up in the summer.

Does seem like Evan Berry plays at a different speed...with his brother's natural instincts...he's surpassed Kelly IMO and that's impressive in itself.

If our guys stay healthy, there's a possibility of a great season. We know we've got some pieces, but the rest of the SEC, except for USC, does not. It's going to be a long summer.
