They said this about Reagan when he was running against George HW Bush. See how that turned out. Anyone that can articulate conservatism will be successful. Keep telling yourself he's not likable. Hillary is about as likable as tertiary syphilis.

On 90% of the issues I'm pretty dang conservative, LG would probably label me as a right wing wacko. I can't stand Cruz.

Cruz is positioning himself as the Christian right candidate, and that does not bode well in terms of the nomination. America may be a Christian nation but its citizens do not largely support what they perceive to be a mix of religion and politics.

I do find it odd that he would go with a Spanish language ad in his first release of two 30 second ads. Hispanic groups will have something to say about that. And his wife is stepping down from Goldman Sachs during the campaign to take that issue off the table.

It's interesting that the TPers, which stomped their feet like 3 year olds throwing a tantrum, insisted that Obama was ineligible because they think he was not born on U.S. soil, are now changing that exact same test for eligibility.
