I'm having a hard time coming up with a scenario where shoving a handicap man to the concrete because he accidentally rolled over your foot is an acceptable action. Please enlighten me...

If there was more to it before hand that happened and it wasn't an accidental running over the foot.

Even if the guy in the chair cursed him and what not he's still a complete tool.

I wasn't there but the evidence I have seen looks like he needed to be fired but if he was cussing the cop and then intentionally rammed him with the chair.....a natural reaction is to push him....it looks worse bc he tumbled out of the chair.....

And, cops will be defended regardless of their behavior merely because they are cops.

I don't think you understand what I'm asking. Dig deep into your imagination (trust me you're going to need a lot of it) and provide me with a scenario that would've made the cops actions okay.

You stating that you need to see what led up to that means that there is at least one. Enlighten me because I'm completely drawing a blank.

And the guy clearly cuts his wheels to the right to avoid the cop. If you can't see that you're either just blind or simply choosing not to.

The five cowards that stood around, watched a handicapped man get assaulted, and then participated in basically kidnapping him (the assault on an officer charge) need to be fired. The jerk off that actually attacked him needs to be criminally charged.

He assaulted the cop when he ran over his foot. Can't you understand that?

Why should cussing a cop be a consideration? Would you be justified in assaulting someone because they cursed at you?

Not only that, but If I was just forced to take a stab at who's responsible for that encounter becoming uncivil, my money's going on the dude that shoves handicap people onto the concrete.

What does that mean

I mean that most police officers are probably good mothers/fathers, husbands/wives, sons/daughters, and friends. I don't think they are inherently bad people. Now any job where they give you a gun and authority over people is going to draw a higher percentage of scumbags than most professions but most are decent people.

But… Due to quite a number of factors, that I'm not going to get into right now, they almost fall extremely short of what I would consider a good cop.

Have you come up with that scenario that would exonerate that cop yet? I'm only asking for one.

If he was cussing, being aggressive and intentionally rammed an officer then it would mean something.....

I looked into it some.......the guy in the w/c told school officials that he had a gun.....the cops were called and determined that he did not have a gun.....he was instructed that he had to stay away from school grounds....he tried to go around the cop and accidentally ran over his foot and the officer shoved him. The officer was the highest ranking officer there and the guy was arrested.

The incident was investigated and the police board recommended him being fired....it went before a five person civilian board which voted against termination......he was stripped of his rank....suspended 30 days without pay. And placed on probation for a yr.

I think it was handled pretty well....don't u?

Cursing shouldn't be a consideration. It's words and that damnable 1st amendment even protects cursing.

Talking aggressive? Just what the hell is that?

Until a cop is physically assaulted they have no reason to touch another person who hasn't committed a crime.

If he said F U Man get the F out of my way and rammed him with his w/c then yes that is assault.....mmmmmhhhhhmmmm telling a school u have a gun is a crime.......in this particular instance the cop was in the wrong and punished as such.

Rammed him is the only thing of concern. what he said shouldn't matter.

Telling a school you have a gun shouldn't be a crime.
