Which humanity? The ones in these towns being shelled by the Russians? Yes, for humanity's sake, let's just allow Russia to keep invading countries, taking land, and killing people. For humanity's sake let's turn a blind eye to major nations flat out lying about treaties they sign. For humanity's sake let's just allow IS to kill off the Christians and other infidels within their borders and their neighbors as well. For humanity's sake we should have just let Hitler keep going and Jews to just continue to be wiped out as well. Shall I continue?

But, it's okay for the US to invade lands and kill hundeds of thousands because the leader is not pro-American? Fund extremist terrorist groups to do their jobs now that Americans are getting tired of dying for this crap we do?! What are we accomplishing in these decade long wars that kills thousands of Americans and then is left for the vultures?!

People are sick and tired of our global warring that produces NOTHING but dead and angry Americans.

I'm more concerned with the lives of innocent Ukrainians who are being slaughtered by the Russians because their military is equipped well enough to defend them.

Despite my posts, I really don't have a dog in the fight, as long as Russia thinks it is contented with just the Donbass and Crimea. But my heart pulls for Ukraine. The pro-Russian side just seems like complete *******s, who know they can get away with everything because they have Russia on their side.

Logical fallacy. I am not the US and cannot explain US foreign policy. To somehow justify Russia's actions by listing out the US' ills? May want to review the flawed logic in your argument. And if what you define the US is doing is wrong then how can you straight faced stand here and defend Putin? This is what really kills me about all the Russian trolls on all these sites. Deposing leaders, propping up puppets, killing off sections of the populace, shelling towns, violating treaties left and right. Giving weapons to accelerate the hostilities. This is Russia's foreign policy is. But somehow they are wonderful and only the US is the evil world power. If you have a problem with the US foreign policy, have the same problem with Russia's as well. Otherwise you are just a troll and hypocrite.

So we risk all of humanity being engaged in a nuclear war vs one region being involved in a conflict... makes sense.

Sure there is. According to Ras, if the US arms the Ukraine, Russia will arm Iran with nukes, then the US will arm Saudi Arabia with nukes and since Saudi Arabia is ruled by a senile king, he will launch against Iran, Iran will launch against Israel, Israel will launch against Iran, Russia will then launch against Israel and the US will then annihilate everybody who's left.

So I guess treaties and agreements signed mean nothing. Don't keep promises. Don't help allies. Don't hold those accountable for breaking these agreements? And just let innocent people keep dying. Your word, your pledge, your signature means nothing to you? No value at all?

To be fair, maybe they were just some women and children collaborators and not Ukrainian soldiers.

They're a very hateful side, although I suppose that makes sense when one side who has historically wield all the power (the ethnic Russians) see that power structure crumbling. Such sides have a tendency to react very violently, just as we've witnessed here in the US - although thankfully never to this point within the last 150 years.

That one particular "gentleman," the Russian commandant figure, he's appeared on other videos (not just Vice News), beating Ukrainian soldiers and deriding them on camera and for the public. He seems to style himself after Iron Felix, Putin's icon.

No concern of ours? Last time I checked countries affected by agreements we've signed are a concern of ours. I know you and Ras care less about keeping your word and honoring a 'contract'.

On another note, I did see this from Russian state run media....guess that whole cave in on the Mistrals has to wait a little longer.

because of all the nukes we have launched since 1945? seems like we learned our lesson about nukes, better to have and not use. (personally I say get rid of them all)
