There are a lot of Cruzes so I gotta ask who are you talking about? That said, to answer your question: In the Americas some with Spanish surnames have Spanish (from Spain) heritage that is very much European 'white' with no admixture from those of native or Indian blood. It's actually pretty common in some places. What you're identifying as 'hispanic' is actually just the expression of indigenous heritage (here in North America we'd just call it "Indian Blood") but the term actually Hispanic includes everyone with a shared ethnicity tied to the Spanish Language.
IOW, you can be a white hispanic, black hispanic, mestizo/mixed hispanic, and on and on.
Sorry, I thought I put Ted Cruz and not just Cruz. And gotcha. I haven't done much study into indigenous heritage at all. I actually find anthropology (what I would assume indigenous heritage relates to) and archaeology to be pretty interesting. Thanks for the tid bit of info :hi:.
Nothing has changed, I promise. It's just that now you know my secret.![]()
That's why they're called secrets man. I'm not supposed to know. Now my eyes cannot unsee what has been seent.
See what happens folks? You do away with fine rules like "Don't ask don't tell" and now everyone feels they can come out of the closet.
"I'm gay". "I murdered someone twenty years ago". "My mother is a he". "I'm a Democrat". "I slept with my cousin, but it's ok, because she's also my sister".
Where does it all end?
Love ya Prof

Good grief. What's the hold up? I understand the DA wants to be careful with this but it seems to me they've had plenty of time to put together a case to present to the Grand Jury if that's their intention. A Grand Jury trial isn't like a regular trial in terms of prep work.
If the DA feels there's a case then he/she needs to present it.
Classic "slow walk", DA or his boss figures they are going to get skewered either way. Figures the reporters and zealots will get tired after awhile and just go away. Then when they release their decision it's just old news by then. When you are as old as I am you get to recognize the formation and can call the play before the ball is snapped.Good grief.
