Been reflecting on the Drew Richmond recruitment and pondering some things that may need to be considered. Ole Miss is an elite program still needing depth. With our first team talent we were a legitimate national championship contender. Even with our injury attrition, we still won nine games and had victories over top twenty teams. Next year we will add more depth and be in much better shape and finish stronger. UT is far away from his home and the program is always looking at next year. They haven't arrived and they way they're over-signing and having people leave, they may never arrive. A team needs continuity and caring coaches. Tennessee may alway be waiting on next year. Ole Miss is continuing to build something special. Should Drew Richmond decide to sign with us, he'll be part of it. If not, he'll miss out. We will continue to be an elite program and do hope he's with us.

Can we get an in-depth paragraph on their great bowl game?

I am glad they finally got their stadium up to 60,000 and shortened the back end of the bell curve for the SEC schools.

Can someone remind me how many SEC championships they might have?

Elite?

He left out more than that. We haven't had any starters leave and lost only three who would have likely ever contributed (Hendrix, Helm and I assume Wharton). He also seems to be insinuating that we don't have "caring coaches" whatever the hell that means. We certainly have coaches that can kick butt on the recruiting trail. Finally, that poster can not seriously believe that his team is a championship contender in the SEC West where they will have to pull at least 3 upsets a year to even finish 6-2 in conference.

I read it too. Its pathetic to the highest order. They havent won a sec title in 50 years

Ole Miss is going to get blasted by the entire SEC West next year. It's an arms race and they're losing big time. Then, once Tunsil, Treadwell, and Nkdemdiche are gone, their talent level will be on par with Kentucky. A lot of 3*s and a smattering of 4*s.

I wish we played them again in 2015.

Ole Miss an elite program??

How many SECCG have they been to in the last 10 years? Last 5? Or ever? Elite programs at least compete for a conference championsip on a regular basis.

Winning 9 or 10 games in a season doesn't make a team an elite program.
