My stance hasn't changed. I think he's a project with a lot of work to do to become a quality SEC player. Probably best-suited to RT. Personally I think it's a toss up between Richmond and Allen for who is the better prospect - Richmond has the greater ceiling, Allen has the higher floor.

My elation with the current situation has much more to do with the fact that Butch is going toe-to-toe with Bama and Ole Miss for a coveted Memphis prospect. He won't be denied, and it's fun to watch. That means more to me than any personal misgivings I might have about Richmond.

I couldn't agree more. The man is has no quit. I wish Kahlil could've made it in. That would have locked this one up IMO

I don't know if he'll be a Vol but my hat's off to Butch and company for putting their best foot forward. Also the fans absolutely killed it.

Richmond is without question a better prospect than Allen, but I don't think Richmond is a can't miss prospect either. I still want him in Orange, but rivals has him way overrated.

I want him for a few reasons. He is a great prospect from TN, I want to steal him from a SEC foe, and I want a National Signing Day surprise.

Yeah I think halftime is typically when all the boosters show up to greet recruits with tacos and $50,000 money orders and things. So, I wouldn't be worried about him heading out for that event.

Just got back from the game. Been going here for a while, and I don't think I've ever heard a recruit get more applause than either coach.

Followed it very closely actually. That's how I know most of the people who were talking bad about him are not the same ones praising him now. This same mistake happens in so many threads by people just waiting to try and point it out. I don't understand why, with everything positive that's going on, there are people who only think of this to post. Go ahead and go back to those 15 pages and see how many you find.
