I have no idea, but I'm worried about it

We're talking about a kid who is visiting home state U the weekend before NSD where his girlfriend of 2 years is reportedly a student. Add to that TN has already beaten us out for 2 recruits we really wanted and seemingly can't miss in recruiting this year and seemingly has an unlimited number of scholys to give. Even Yancy is pretty much saying he has no idea how this one will go.

To TJB53's point about Richmond being one of our biggest recruiter, that's true, but it seems like most or all of that recruiting was done months ago. When interviewed last Sun as he was leaving Oxford, Richmond said he didn't recruit anyone over the weekend because he didn't think that would be right because he himself wasn't sure where he was going to end up.

The latest is Richmond's mom will accompany him to Knoxville and maybe his uncle too, but his dad won't be going. Reading between the lines, it sounds like Richmond's family favors OM and Richmond himself is somewhere between truly undecided and slightly favoring TN.

Tennessee wants Richmond bad

Jones wouldn't have made a personal visit to Memphis. I'm not putting a lot of stock in the girlfriend thing. These are high school kids, the prime time for breakups is when they head off to college. There's a whole new world of poo poo out there for Mr. Richmond.

Tennessee has a lot of alumni pull in Memphis that could definitely sway a recruit's family. Since Richmond is already a commit and has been for some time I wouldn't worry too much, but do worry. Jones is no slouch.

No source. But if our biggest recruit from out of state starts looking hard at the in state school that's bad news. He and family visiting TN the week before signing day is very bad news. He is TN's to lose now. 25% ole miss.

I personally appreciate their effort. If I was them the next time someone asked I would tell you all to stick your brush where the sun does not shine. They went when no one else would. JMO
