Remember getting McClustered back in 2009? Lot of people looking forward to welcoming Ole Miss back to Neyland.

Not trying to be nitpicky here, but Wiliiams played the 3 technique. Isn't Mckenzie expected to be more of a 1 technique in our 4-3 under? It seems like it would make more sense for him since he'll be our biggest strongest DT (well, Owen Williams probably lifts more, but you know what I mean) pretty much as soon as he steps on campus.

You're right. Kahlil will be a 1 technique. That is his most natural position and the one that will make us the most dangerous.

Depending on how quickly Kyle Phillips progresses and how much good weight Derek Barnett has put on this off-season, I could see them moving Derek to the 3 technique. Ole Miss did the same thing with Robert Nkemdiche this past season and IMO he's the closest comparison to Derek in terms of body and build.

My hope is by the end of the season, we're running a pass rushing lineup that features Phillips, Barnett, McKenzie, and Maggitt on the field at the same time. That would be our most talented lineup.

Bama 247 guys confirmed that he canceled the visit.

I think Barnett would lose weight before gaining it. He may have some body composition changes, but I doubt he ever plays at more than 275.

I wouldn't be surprised to see that line you mentioned on 3rd downs though.

Im gonna have to let it ride gentlemen, ive been unexpectedly slammed with stuff to do the next two days. Sorry. In their defense its not an easy surface to paint on. But i agree, names need to be huge and be the focal point.
