OV said the kid was a good ball player too. He is just an undersized guy, like Bruce and Perry. So we took two instate guys instead of Duke I guess.

I think it will be DeBord and at first I was upset because everyone on here was upset! The fact is I don't know anything about him but I have decided to completely trust Butch on this matter. He is not bringing in someone who can not do the job, he has too much riding on this hire.

When Butch was hired I was so effing mad I immediately went home and threw away every Tennessee hat, shirt, and jersey's I owned. Needless to say within a week I went and bought all new items again. It looks like his hire is going to be the best thing that has happened to us in a long, long time. JMO

If the hire goes as all the previous hires I've followed through VN

DeBord will be the #1 recruiter in the country, and next year we will have countless threads about (insert major football program here) hiring away our coaches...

I'm not going to say a thing until I see what the guy can do.

I was out in my car earlier and heard Josh and Will, the two morans on the sports talk show in Knoxville, saying they were sure Arian and most all good players at Tennessee got that much (40-50k) from boosters. One of them also mentioned the taco story but they still insisted that the players were making big money over there. It's not been a week ago that they were screaming for the NCAA to approve schools paying the players some money so they could buy food on weekends and go to a movie ever once in a while. Add to that Will was harping a day or so ago that UT should go ahead and fire CDT and forget about this season. Need a petition against them.
