Y'all know i was not a DeBord proponent. You can check my stats but the hire makes sense for Butch and his style. My favorite part of it is not the person but the fact that Butch has the testicular fortitude to make a hire regardless of fan opinion. Mine included. It's his ship and his methodology and it really seems to work. He has used zbs and has run spread concepts and is willing to do what Butch says and for the right cash. Hard to argue stability of play book for all involved.
