Bad time for all of this to be coming out imo. Pressure is building on Tyndall it seems like. I kind of wish Hart or someone would respond to all of this coming out at So Miss if they are able to.

True. I wonder since the LOA was received against Larry Brown and SMU that whatever punishment is dealt to him we can expect similar to Tyndall. Just a thought to ponder

I actually think tyndall could throw this on the compliance staff at usm and say he was told these kids were good to go. Honestly they probably won't be able to prove he did anything.

Absolutely, that would seem to be common sense, if he was directly involved it probably would be a show cause, if they can't prove direct knowledge and just hit him with the "Coach's Control" issue, the ~10 game suspension and recruiting restrictions seems likely.

Even the ten game suspension and recruiting restrictions is a stretch right now bc no one has any idea what went on

Yeah any punishment is bad and will harm us in the short term but long term I think we will be ok....our fans tend to be very short sighted on these things

That's just guessing also....we had a much quicker time line for getting every thing out there in the beginning....everyone is just guessing at this point.

To follow up on a few things I posted about a few days ago

Here is a few more things I believe to be true
Based on info I stated in earlier post.


None of this is a surprise to hart.

Tyndall has "come clean" and admitted to all of this but had blamed it ALL on the assistants including academic fraud

Tyndall now has a growing confidence he will survive but fully expects a suspension.




This part is all opinion:

I think the few days/weeks after the season we will see if hart is going to buy the Tyndall story. If nothing comes out that contradicts his story to the NCAA then I think he is saying because Hart is only expecting a suspension.(10games or less)

If anything else turns up that he didn't disclose it will be over then and coaching search will be on at that appropriate time right after the season.

People are already saying this 2015 class should be excused because of this, the 2014 class wasn't some star studded class, and if this drags into June/July you can likely kiss the 2016 class goodbye too. How it is that you can say this punishment won't have a long term effect is beyond me.

Bc it's college basketball and u can fix it extremely quick...we already have a four star committed in 2016....I think he holds and we get Blackwell.....I don't think with CDT's coaching that the bottom will fall out of the program.....

It's not good but I think it will work out....I feel our administration knows exactly what happened and unless something new is found out then we will be fine.

We're used to meh recruiting these last few years... No adjustment needed.
