Question. How in the crap did we lose to Bama this year?

Bottom line: Bama and UT this year are inconsistant and nobody can predict either team. end of debate.

Alright everybody...you heard the man. Show's over, nothin' to see here.

You don't gotta go home, but you sure as hell better find another thread to post in.

and Army dominated the 40s, yet own noone today. Bear's tenure has officially reached the point of irrelevance outside of the AL state lines.

I'm with you on Army, BPV, but you shouldn't throw away anything in the first half of the the 20th century. Those were the good ole Army days! Go Black Knights!

Rockydoc, your posts are worthless. If you said Florida or Auburn; I would agree. Saying Alabama "owns" Tennessee negates any intelligent posts you may have previously had.

just YOUR opinion... they do own us, IMO. 2 of last 3, serirs total by 7 or 8. you can call it what you want.

Not really. We were down 15 and Florida was driving deep into UT territory for another score before Berry's pick 6.

The game was never really that close. The Vols had the momentum for a few minutes, but Arian's fumble put an end to that.

Tennessee relies on momentum more than most other teams, IMHO. Foster doesn't fumble and it could have been a different ball game.

They weren't unbeatable this year.

WTF does 1995 have to do with anything? 2005 would be much more relevant.

And 2006 would be more relevant than that.

Bottom Line: in the past decade Tennessee has been expected to beat Alabama in every matchup, but has dropped a few.

Maybe now would be a good time for the "Question: How in the crap did we lose to Cal this year?" thread.

If 1995 isn't relevant, why are you placing so much emphasis on the all-time series record?

historically, over the long run, you are either the better program, or you're not. i dont know how else you would judge it. taking selected years during the middle of the series is not logical, if you took anything partial, you would take the last game played.

C'mon, dude. Get serious. Saying that having the upper hand by 7 games in a series that is over 100 years old is "owning" somebody is more than a little ridiculous.

or, looking for a trend, you might take the last 3 or 4, maybe even 5 or 6. Beyond that, we're bordering on irrelevance.
