Jim Tressel received a 5 year show cause in 2011. That would mean 2016 is the earliest he could be hired. Sorry to rain on the fun parade, but...c'mon guys. Surely you didn't believe that crap?

Butch hires QB coach, calls plays himself, thhen fires QB coach and hires Tressell next year.

After all lest ye forget 2016 is thr year we actually do something anyway. Might as well can this year and take a step back si we cab take two steps forward.

He's still under the show cause penalty which means there is no way in double blue hell that any major program touches him. Tell your "insider" to try a little harder next time.

Clemson has Co-Offensive OC's now. Chad Morris took the SMU HC Job. Another name that has been brought up is Billy Nappier. He used to be at Clemson and is on th Saban's staff now. And he can flat out recruit. And with all the Coach's jumping ship on Saban he could be a candidate.

Hope it doesn't happen. Tressel is the poster boy for conservative play calling.

Possibly. I was just saying that I doubt it will be some unheard of guy getting chosen over the likes of Coach Z.
