My argument would be that distance would be your first concern if you live in Texas and TN makes you an offer. Why would this drama get dragged out all the way to Jan 18th if distance was an issue?

This is one of the classiest kids I've followed in a while. I really thought he wanted to come here but he could never get his parents on board for whatever reason. Don't care where he ends up, I hope and expect him to do well.

Will not end up at Tennessee imo. Tifwiw which is nothing but I just don't see it. Numbers, Texas, twitter full time or otherwise just don't see him as a Vol.

I think this kid genuinely loves Tennessee but I believe all along that this kid wants to play for his home state. Can't blame him for that. UTjr will be his destination.

I guess you do have me beat.. I posted on the 9th that he would be going to Texas, and I was just relaying exactly what I was told he said to a player on the team.

My last post was all in fun. Sounds like your Newsome prediction had some validity to it unlike mine which was really just a guess or gut feeling.

Distance? IDK. Is the airline easier from Texas to LA since they have a major airport?

IDK how anyone can say we didn't want him. We pushed hard it seems he was really interested but we came up short. No way of knowing if he liked another school better or if his parents wanted him to be closer to home. Either way the kid is a class act, I will root for him even if he chooses the longhorns.

Kid handled this in a very mature way. I respect him for that. Good luck to him unless he somehow ends up at Bama. Then all bets are off. :rock: :hi:

Like some other posters said I feel like his parents wanted him at Texas and because of that and the distance factor Texas wins out. He had enough respect to let volnation know he loved us and he didn't want to troll us knowing he wasn't coming here so he eliminated us from his final two.
