Obama admin has done a good job managing the economic crisis of Bush

I'd like to add:

After reading through this, I now know why we are screwed.

I understand why obama was elected,
not once, but twice.

I guess we get what we deserve.....

I've never backtracked at all. My stance has always been that inflation devalues debt. Im sorry if your knowledge of economics is lacking.

No, your stance was that given no interest and no payments the amount of your debt decreased due to inflation. Now you are speaking sense, before, not so much.

When did I say anything about raising their taxes? I would even be for dropping most all rates, assuming we closed all the loop holes and subsidies.

To benefit the consumer their rates should be zero. All of this "close the loophole" nonsense is idiotic

Just like how the republican congress is going to fix immigration, overturn obama care, and welfare reform?

Come on...

They'll do more than the assclowns they're replacing , did you know half of the democratic senators/congressmen are gone that voted for obamacare? Next two years are gonna be fun.😝

If you drop corporate taxes to a flat 10%, THEY would give up all subsidies and deductions.

I've never said anything about wanting to support people who don't work. I've always maintained that their are many people working 40 hrs a week or more at jobs that simply don't pay them enough.

Why is it alright to give corporations a tax break or subsidies, but not these people?

Those people are net zero taxpayers anyway.

They get a break at the end of the year. Most of these people get more welfare from the irs in the form of thousands of dollars in refunds. I've never gotten $5k+ in a refund but know many who do and it's gone in a week or two.

I have but that was due to me making an error on my W4. I also paid about 17% that year.

Do you know anything about economics? Inflation decreases the real value of debt.

You know what's great about math? You can twist the same numbers around get the desired results. Ask any used car salesman.
Or finance manager. Twisting numbers can be fun. It's something I've always been good at.

But it also decreases the value of your money/buying power

Agreed. But salaries almost always rise with inflation as well. They may stay behind for awhile, but they always catch up. If they didn't, no one could purchase anything and we'd actually end up with deflation (07-09 is a nice example of deflation due to a lack of consumer confidence/buying power).

You're just saying random words at this point

No, he is right. The value decreases. However, he stated in a previous thread the the amount decreased. The thread was deleted I think because one of us got ugly
