I think Bajakian will be fine. Mahoney....probably not. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if Butch sent him off after the bowl game. I've had my misgivings with Bajakian, but it seems to me that he is really handcuffed in his play-calling when it's obvious the OL can't handle their business. If speaking Frankly, Tennessee might not be the best option then. Another sub-par year by the OL with vanilla play calling and Mahoney and Bajakian will be looking for a new job themselves.
We need Allen and St.Louis badly. OL is hands down the No.1 need in this entire class. I'd rather take an extra OT than a 3rd RB. We will have Abernathy transferring in from Cincy, as our 4th back. We could use Elliot Berry as a 5th if we had a lot of injuries at RB.I think we land Allen, Phillips, Amadi, Love and have a decent shot with Walker, St. Louis, Martin, and Jones. Newsome would be nice, but I think he is Texas bound. Allen, Love, and Phillips would be the top three on my board. Walker, Newsome, and Jones woulds be luxuries to me. I like Francois more than Jones, but it seems like the staff doesn't? He is a pipe dream anyway imo.

Look at the SC and KY games. The offense was playing lights out. But against the better SEC DL's it's a different matter. Part of the problem, IMHO is Mahoney's OL recruiting. He has got to step it up, or the OL will continue to be the millstone tied around the offense's neck.
It's always easy to blame the previous staff. Truth is, Mahoney has had 2 full classes prior to this to bring in SEC level talent. And not a single one of his recruits has shown promise of panning out.We currently have 3 4* OL committed and have the possibility of signing 1-2 more. I think our OL this year can be traced back to the previous administration

I don't count Jashon Robertson as one of Mahoney's OL recruits, either. He was recruited for the DL, and moved over because of the lack of talent. Very telling. In fact, we're going to have to move Charles Mosley over to the OL because Mahoney whiffed at recruiting his 1st 2 classes.
Mosley would have been a beast at DT. If Mahoney had done his job as a recruiter, we wouldn't have to make that move. Can't blame that on Dooley...although he certainly didn't help any by not signing any OL in the 2012 class.
Mahoney knew the situation coming in, and knew he'd have the whole OL leaving after the 2013 season. His job at recruiting should have reflected that urgency. It didn't.
