To the Memphis haters:

Heard a passage this morning that reminded me of this conversation.

Summarizing Jeremiah 29:7..

Seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it, for in the peace of the city shall ye have peace.

If the city is strong, those who live there are stronger. Pray for good government, pray for families, employers and employees. And if the city is stronger, so will be the state.

I have attempted to find out if one of the slain cops in Brooklyn (Rafael Ramos) was in the Navy. I knew a guy from Brooklyn named Ramos from Boot Camp that looked identical to the pics shown.

His age was listed as 40. That's about the correct age for the guy I knew.

Some people stand out in your memory and he was one. I remember that guy as a great person.

I truly hope that's not him but it sure looks like him.

If any of you can find out if he was in the Navy or not, I would really appreciate it.
