In terms of switching the roster around/spots yeah but in most other ways Abernathy > Pickett.

NFL lacks the level of passion and pride and rivalries of college football. Nothing like it.

One could also argue that college football lacks the athletic precision and competetive balance of the NFL.

Also the NFL has tons of great rivalries.

I think it's probably a lot more fun if you have a specific team. I follow the Dallas Cowboys pretty close. It's really just a totally different game. Winning isn't even about talent because everybody has it. It's about anticipation and perfect execution. To see the greatest game in the world played by the greatest players in the world can be wonderful. When it's there and it all comes together it's beautiful to watch. Watch Dez Bryant play and tell me he doesn't have passion. The good teams have it. The bad ones don't.

That being said, I still like watching SEC football better. But I would take the NFL over the rest of college football as a whole.

Garrett is an awesome pass rusher, but Barnett is the whole package. He sets the edge and handles his assignments, he doesn't just get after the QB.

That's good. The more options we have at center next season and beyond the better. Thomas has a good chance to get the starting center job once Crowder moves on.
