Not a fair judgment imo. Parents raise kids to never ever talk to people disrespectfully, then their coach can call them every name in the book and it's supposed to be OK? Every kid is raised differently, and every one has a different personality. Just assuming the worst to say they expect people to say how great they are.

This is really bad stuff to be out there. A lot of material for opposing teams in recruiting battles. Especially considering Helm and Hendrix are basically both leaving for the same reason.

My problem with this is not that he was unhappy, or that he didn't like it here, or he had a problem with how the coaches communicate and Yell at players. My problem is he put it out to the world. You didn't hear our coaches come out and criticize him when he left.

Could you summarize what Shepherd said?

He said the transfers were a rash of idiocy (those were the words he used) and that the only one coaches were really irritated about was Hendrix. He specifically said Hendrix was given bad advice but didn't say what that was. He also wouldn't speak about the others but he made it clear that it wasn't something we should be concerned about and didn't seem to think it was on the coaches either. He sounded more annoyed by whatever happened than anything else.

Saw that earlier today. I'm a retired Marine. I've seen and done things people really should never have to see or do, but through all og that, I've never been able to get a grasp on what people think they are proving by going into a place and purposely killing a bunch of kids.

Killing a school full of kids does not = tough guy

They do not have the same value for life (other than their own maybe) that we do. That is why the only way to beat them is to go medieval on THEM. That is what they do, we need to do it back to THEM and then some.

I've never been in the military but I have a ton of respect for anyone who has put their life on the line for this country and for other countries. Especially when they have to do it at a disadvantage because some politicians don't want to upset anyone's sensibilities.

2 guys that arent used to being pushed so hard it sounds like. Not a problem for mentally tough guys that butch tries to goes after. Not everybody is gonna be happy. Im sure all the other sec coaches are very easy to be around and make sure they say the right things at practice to make sure they dont hurt anybodies little feelings. Im sure saban is telling recruits "come here to bama, we wont yell or cuss at you"
