How could the kid just now be figuring out he's not a Butch fan?? Did he never once interact with the man, or see him on the practice field, the ENTIRE time he was being recruited???

He probably liked Butch just fine until Butch played someone more game-ready. Guess he didn't like the view from the bench. I wish he wanted to be here, but if he doesn't, he opens up a spot for someone who does.

Some people just can't handle moving away/changes/college life/working harder than ever/earning a spot/etc. It happens every single year on every single team.

Personally, I'd rather they leave now and not waste anymore time. This way it opens up spots for the '15 class with new kids who want to be Vols. If they're not into it now and willing to give their all, why waste another semester or year?

If I'm Butch I wish them well, show them the door, and give their spots to new Vols without missing a beat.
