He's constantly having to break multiple tackles on 4 and 5 yard gains. You can really see what he can do when someone actually gets to the second level and throws a block.

Yep...Hurd is as elite as they come IMO. Look out next season and into year 3...

Sorry off topic but is there a video of the Missouri game anywhere or specifically the Malone drop. People keep referring to it and I wasn't able to watch that game and it seems as though people said it was a huge momentum turner. So just wanted to see for myself. Thanks.

Yes sir. I'll take a back like that all day. He's the kind of back that can just wear a defense out as the game goes along, not to mention he's a very good pass catcher and outstanding in pass protection.

The sky will be the limit for him as the line improves imo. I think the biggest thing that will help him is adding a legit stud (Kamara) to help shoulder the load. I'm really excited about our running backs for the next couple of years.

At some point in the game you're going to ask yourself in bewilderment: "Are they running a stretch play with a fullback over and over?" Yes. Yes we are.


It has been a while seeing Iowa vs the Vols on the grid iron. Good luck...may the best mediocre team win.

You'll see our training staff cleaning up the puddles of urine at the feet of our offense late third/early fourth quarter.


Wait until you see Iowa execute the stretch play with a 250 RB that runs a 4.85 40....it's a sight for sore eyes....

Bring some pressure and watch the soft shoe act by our QB.......

Run the read option with your quick QB and you can que the band with Rockytop all day long!

Glad the 'Vols are back! Butch Jones is solid and Tennessee is by far, my favorite SEC team....

Mychal Rivera went ham for Oakland today:

7 catches 109 yards, 1 TD.

Patterson without a catch for the Vikings. Good job Vikings. Sure don't want him with the ball in his hands.

Thanks for posting. Yeah what a back breaking play in that time in the game and location on the field. Hopefully better things to come for Malone going forward starting in the bowl game.

Dooley accumulated some nice talent in 2012, and should have won more games. But CBJ in year 3 has significantly better talent overall, with much more depth, speed and upside. Can't wait for 2015!

Iowa LT is a first rounder coming up this draft, excited to see Barnett against him.

And maybe we can get Hendrix some reps so he can see why he wasn't ready haha
