I'm just really disappointed that Baylor didn't make it in.

I think Baylor could beat Bama. It would be like the Auburn game, except Bama would be going up against an even better offense. Not sure they could keep up with Baylor's offense for four quarters.

I agree. Bama's pass D is their weakness and Petty would sling it all over the field on them. They are one of the few teams that could beat Alabama in a shootout imo.

Much more talent? Really, have you actually looked over that roster. That D-line and LB corp is nasty if they focus. The secondary has good athletes headed by Vonn Bell at safety(who's been taking slot WRs out). The offense has playmakers and there's not a Bama CB who can run with Devin Smith.

You all act as if Bama has a coaching advantage. You can hate Urban but the man is as elite as Saban. Stop the madness.....

Yes I have looked over their roster. But they play nobody worth a damn. And Wisconsin is one dimensional. Take away run game and they're nothing. Now for the first time this year that OSU has to play against the top team in the country they'll last all 4 quarters? No way. It could start out close, but Bama will wear them down in the second half. And that asshat Kiffin will scheme all around that secondary. He's been doing it all year.

Then Oregon will beat Bama, hopefully...

I guess i'll pull for Oregon. The other three are death to me. Above all though I just hope Alabama doesn't win another one

Will there be a poll not linked to the play-off after the season? If Baylor has a good bowl win and OSU takes the play-off, could there be a split NC?

The lack of a Big 12 championship game caused this imo.

Didn't help...but due to TCU and Baylor BOTH being pretty much in the Metroplex, they would be in the same division ...meaning Baylor plays a game like they did yesterday... With OSU's performance it wouldn't have swayed anything.

I guess in present terms this makes the Big 12 South akin to the SEC West.

How's Bama the top team? They struggled with LSU and Arkansas. And you can say what you want check those to teams records this year. Arky also has only won 2 conference games in 2 years.

Oregon is easily No.2 and FSU should still be No.1 they haven't suffered a loss in two years. They beat a ranked Clemson team with their backup QB. Could Bama do that with Coker playing 4 quarters?

I wanted TCU matched up on Bama early on. But Oregon has the recipe for Bama. Elite CB Ifo for Oregon follows top WRs around. There will be no hiding Amari Cooper as Kiffin typically does.

Committee said they were going to give emphasis to conference champions. Big 12 makes big splash about how they were only conference with true conference champion because of their round robin schedule. then they try to pull some co-champion garbage and try to lobby both.
And on top of all that, IMO, any team that was involved in a 61-58 game should not be in final four whether they won or lost. It should count as a loss against both of them. ( and I guess for all practical purposes it did)

Ifo hasn't looked anywhere near as good as he has in previous years

How many years until we move to an 8-team playoff?

I say it happens by 2017.

They should have had 8 to start out with. 5 power conferences for a 4 team playoff....makes little sense to me. With 8 you take the 5 conf champs and to get the other 3 you let the comp figure it out with the sarg ratings IMO

He'll be fine, he's probably bored out there. Another reason he should've jumped last year. He's been killing for two years and elite WRs at that. Now he's probably not hungry. Cooper can light a fire for him.

I'm convinced the Raiders, Jags, and Bucs would smash the Titans now. 2014 Titans may be in the top 10 worst NFL teams in the past decade.
