I just want to go on a mini rant here for a second...
As good as Kendall is, he has terrible mechanics. That is 100 percent coaching error.
I played QB all the way from Pee Wee through high school and proper throwing mechanics was drilled into my skull on a daily basis. If I even thought about throwing a side arm pass, my coach would have yanked me out and I would be running sprints.
I'm sure Kendall's throwing motion will be ironed out at UT but grade school coaches need to do a better job of teaching basic fundamentals. They aren't doing any good not teaching their player proper technique.
These are things you should begin learning in the fifth grade...not as a freshman in college.

His team lost last night but he had a good game. Here part of a news article.
Cuthbertson junior quarterback Austin Kendall looked like he would lead his team to another dramatic comeback late in the fourth quarter when he marched the Cavaliers on a nine-play, 80-yard drive, capped by a perfect 16-yard touchdown pass to Byron Gaymon for a 21-17 lead with 4:07 left.
Kendall, who had helped lead Cuthbertson (11-4) to 10 straight wins coming into the game, had another big passing game, going 21 for 30 for 328 yards and three touchdowns.
Yeah, he put up crazy numbers. Really wish we could have gotten him. Like I said, thought UK would have been more in the picture. I'll stick by my homerism and pray that he switches. It's an extremely long shot though. I don't think his brother played as big as a role in the choice as I thought. He's never going to be much here (a walk on wr) so his brother wasn't too excited. Maybe if his brother had gotten into the line up, maybe. But really doubt it now.
Sucks to miss out. But UT got a real good one.
He's gonna end up a 5-star on at least one site.
It is if you lie to get a commitment from a kid.
One will not RS. We need a backup brah...If they take Jones, I'd expect to see some movement here. Up to 3 RSFR on the roster ahead of you all having a year in the offense/program? I don't think so. Not when you have a lot of other options. JMO
Of course if taking Jones has QD & JJ looking elsewhere, I'd imagine it looks better to Austin.
