Branndon Stewart did us a favor.

I remember reading one time that after the 98 season Stewart said "I always though I'd win Tennessee a championship....Just never thought it'd be like this"

No clue if it's true or not...but if it is he definitely had a point.

Love what Tech is doing. They are one of the out of conference teams I consistently find myself pulling for. Great year so far for them.

Try to imagine GA Tech's offense playing at the speed of Oregon, that would be scary.

Side note, if they beat FSU and Ohio State wins that would put Alabama vs Ohio State. That would be another very embarrassing loss for Ohio State against a SEC team.

Agreed. It was miserable to watch. My hope was for a 9-3 UGA team to get in there and pull an upset. Mizzou winning out was such a disappointment.

Seeing Mizzou go to the SECCG for the East 2 years in a row just goes to show you how far the East has fallen. We are still a good division, but nowhere near where we used to be. I miss the time when UT vs UF used to be the SECCG.

Was there not people saying it was time for Paul Johnson to go earlier this year? About that...

I work with a GT alum. He said the fanbase was ready for a change before the season had even started. Not so much now I guess.

Alabama would have done the same thing to Georgia. 42-13 was an accurate representation of the gap between the two sides of the conference.

One game can change a lot of people's perceptions. There were tons of people call in into to radio shows in ATL still saying he should be fired the week before the UGA game.

Living down here they've wanted him gone for a while. His record against Georgia is bad overall. But he's clearly gotten the right players for his system now. If you give a good coach time...

I agree Bama would have won, but Chubb is a man beast. Kid runs through people and is very good. And their OL isn't bad at all. They know how to block. Alabama's LB's aren't the best and their CB's would be cannon fodder for Chubb after half of the second quarter.
