That should say winning record in conference.

I looked it up, and whoever tweeted it was wrong, but only by one game. They didn't get any this year, and they beat UGA and TAMU last year. So 2 in two years.

They know how they typed it up; they likely meant it to look that way.

Remember when he absolutely loved Florida? He absolutely ruins my football watching enjoyment.

They're the worst frontrunners in the business. If a team is elite, they won't shut up about them the whole game and make it sound like whoever they're playing doesn't belong on the same field.

Why would Hendrix leave? We will need him next year and after that he has a great chance to start. Would not make sense to me. Also being homesick is kind of a funny reason to transfer to me.

Watching Mizzou in these SEC Championship games makes me think of Radiohead... "I don't belong here..."

I don't understand all the Mizzou hate. They're a good team and they've proved it. Even though the East is weaker than usual, it is no small feat to go the the SEC Championship back-to-back.

Man....... Idk about this, they've got decent players but this team being in here just grinds my gears.... :)

I dunno about the East, but Arkansas will be playing for a spot in the playoff.

but with their new manufactured rivalry with mizzou, they'll have to beat mizzou first. couldnt get it done this year.

mizzou--graduates Marcus Murphy (leading? RB), Bud Sasser (leading WR), Markus Golden (1/2 of the celebrated DE pair), Jimmie Hunt (productive WR), 3 OL (no idea if they start), Lucas Vincent (product DL), and I guess Shane Ray could leave for the NFL (leading sacks). i cant see us losing this next year with all the talent they are losing.

UGA--graduates quite a bit of OL at least 3-4 were starters; have to replace hutson mason at QB; Gurley unsure if he's gone; looks like they return a lot of their defense, which wasn't that great this year anyway. Without their running game, and not knowing what they've got otherwise, does seem like they'd be too much for UT to handle. especially at home.

UF--unsure. roster would be in decent shape if muschamp weren't leaving/recruiting class weren't in flux. if mcelwain beats jones in his first year i would think we've got another decade of losing to UF in our future.

USC--lose dylan thompson at QB, lose nick jones and dameire byrd at WR who were both productive, get back almost all of their defense so should be improved. plus should get a decent class. just not sure whether UT can win again but we seem to be a good match up for them.

Kentucky--would assume improvement. don't see too many seniors graduating that i recognize. that Javiss Blue who had a good game against us is graduating. should still be easy enough for UT to handle.

Vandy--can only really go up from where they were at this year but still shouldn't be a powerhouse. no reason we should lose to them next year.

hardest teams to beat IMO 1. UGA 2. USC 3. UF 4. Kentucky 5. MU 6. Vandy

anyone else have a more informed list?

UGA will be good, but will be replacing Gurley, Mason, Bennett, Conley, a few Olinemen. Their defense loses Thorton, Drew, Herrera, Ramik Wilson, Swann and maybe Floyd and Jenkins if they come out.

Florida is going to be losing a ton. Jones and Fowler have already declared for the draft. Humphries, Morrison, Bullard may come out.

South Carolina will lose 6 starters on offense and maybe Davis too. They return 8 on defense, but that may be good.

Mizzou loses 5 starters on offense, including every wr. They lose 3 in defense, 4 if Ray comes out and he is projected as a top 10 pick so he will probably go. It would be 3 of their 4 starters on the DL.

UK loses 5 on offense and 4 on D. Dupree is projected as a 1st rounder from the D.

Vandy returns everyone, 18 starters, but doesn't really matter.

looks ripe for tennessee to be a contender to me. every position should gain depth and experience minus mike linebacker.

only real issue is our OL.

I agree. Would be much more entertaining to see Chubb and Co. out here...

Yeah, I'd love to see how good UGA's defense would make Cooper look.

A team that runs so much to hide the fact that they can't effectively pass the ball and they know it is the perfect Achilles heel of a matchup for a team with a fantastic run defense but has difficulty with the deep ball

There will be more early entries to the draft as well. The number's grown each of the last 3-4 years (it went up from like 70 or 80 two years ago to I think it was 108 total early entries last season).

I'll give Mizzou this much credit. They do a good job getting overhyped playing a weak schedule, and then hanging around for a while in the SECCG before succumbing to a multiple TD blowout...

UGA can be very good when they focus. They would have been up for this game and made it close IMO. We will never know. But this thrashing of Mizzou was imminently predictable.
