Freeze has been at Ole Miss a year longer than Butch has been at UT. UT wins 9 games, I'd have no issue at all with the man at 4 million a year. IMO he's just not there yet.

Everyone's saying a small raise leb. 500,000 with another year. If he wins big then that's when he gets the Saban pay.

CBJ wants Saban money, IMO Hart would need to see about 2 national championship trophies added to the trophy cases. IMO that is a long way off.

Butch will get a raise and extension. Not neccesarily for what he has accomplished on the field, but the recruiting and marketing aspect of the program has shown that the program should rise, barring some catostrophic sanctions.

Sometimes you buy the stock a little on the high end because the signs, point to a bigger return

CBJ said he didn't need Saban's pay because he can buy his clothes in the men's department and that he doesn't have to have everything custom made in the "Stubby-Miniature" size that Saban wears. Hart wears regular size clothes too so he knows where CBJ is coming from. I've heard that those special size custom made clothes cost a fortune to make. FWIW

I never said Butch wanted 4 million. I just gave my opinion on the subject where some have said pay him whatever it takes.

Maybe I should have added "If" to the start of the response. Noone is saying CBJ wants Saban money now.
