Where in the world did you hear that Bama nonsense? Even with Freeze staying at OM we have roughly a 20% chance of flipping him. This has always been UT vs OM though, there are no other contestants.

Edit: just found that news. That kinda pisses me off if true.

If no Orange shades are involved, DR to UT IMO is MAYBE 1%. There is just no way DR is flipping to UT while recruiting as hard as he is for Ole Miss. IMO fans just need to let that one go.

Yes it does. Also have to consider Ole Miss can't just keep throwing money at the man. This will be his 4th contract negotiation already there. You can't just keep throwing 500,000-a million a year more at the guy every year. He'll make more than Saban next year and IMO he has not proven to be worth that yet at all.

IMO 4.2 isn't going to get Freeze to UF. I said earlier I think 5 would. Ole Miss I expected to come in right at 4 to keep him.

I'm sure the UF offer is loaded with more incentives/perks and performance bonuses that may be the difference. Easier to reach at UF.

Freeze may want out of the SEC west.

Page 43, section G, subsection 2 of his contract states that he is entitled to the KFC and or Pizza Hut buffet at least twice a day for the duration of the contract. This is to include drinks, and a take home doggy bag.

The one way I see him going to UF is via a long term contract with a nasty buyout clause if fired. Meaning he is paid more and gauranteed about 5 years. I feel the same about if he stays at Ole Miss. It will be whomever gives him long term security.

So from a recruiting standpoint, what would concern you more, Freeze pulling Tennessee kids to Ole Miss, or is the draw to Florida even stronger than the close to home pull?

From a purely recruiting standpoint, I'd rather Freeze go to FL and turn his focus to Florida talent. However, from the game standpoint, I'd rather take my chances against the Colorado St. coach.

We start winning SEC East titles and Freeze won't be pulling mid state kids no matter how hard he tries.

I would rather him be out of Ole Miss so that he would stop poaching our recruits. In the hotbeds of Florida he could be rather self contained when it comes to recruiting. Dude is a great recruiter, but I'm not ready to call him a great coach yet. I'll roll that dice.

Also that 100% guarantees Richmond coming home.

I think I read he ends up at Bama if not ole miss?

I feel like Texas A&M should be in the middle tier based on their access to talent. They haven't really proven it on the field yet though.
