I think the guy on Fox News said it best when he said the evidence had to have been so horrid, they were faced with nothing but a not true call.

I think if there was even a shred of evidence that would have led to an indictment, they likely would have done so in order to avoid what happened last night. Everyone knew it was coming so it's not like the scales of probability weren't in their favor.

I'm just looking forward to tearing through the evidence. We have a lot to read for sure.

Septic posted the link a few pages back. The problem with the evidence has already been outlined by a lot of the media in the fact much of the eyewitness testimony was discredited.

And the media was a big part of that along with the Ferguson Grapevine. This is probably going to be a case where the forensic evidence will outweigh the witness testimony as we've discussed. Or discredit it as well.

My fear is that the so called "experts" will tear into the testimony and evidence and remove selected portions and take them completely out of context. Such as Wilson stating Brown came at him with his hands raised. That obviously can mean either he was surrendering or coming at him with raised hands to strike again. But of course the "experts" will remove the context entirely and point to it as Wilson acting completely out of line and fuel the flames even more.

This seems like the most likely scenario.

The third possible explanation is more benign. Ordinarily, prosecutors only bring a case if they think they can get an indictment. But in high-profile cases such as police shootings, they may feel public pressure to bring charges even if they think they have a weak case.

“The prosecutor in this case didn’t really have a choice about whether he would bring this to a grand jury,” Ben Trachtenberg, a University of Missouri law professor, said of the Brown case. “It’s almost impossible to imagine a prosecutor saying the evidence is so scanty that I’m not even going to bring this before a grand jury.”

Michael Brown's step father seemed like a model citizen, pants on the ground and all. Was nice to hear his mom say she don't bother nobody and if anybody says different day a lie. Doesn't she have pending assault charges?
