So is anybody going to make a serious guess on if anyone is going to actually be killed in the aftermath of the decision? If Wilson isn't true billed it's hard to imagine there won't be some damage and arrests but I keep hoping nobody's actually going to end up dead over this nonsense.

Are you seriously asking this question or thinking aloud? I would guess there are probably VN users excited to predict a body count for tonight.

I hope things may be a lot tamer than everyone expects if there's no indictment. If there is, the celebratory violence might be worse.

Don't worry LG, guns will be used with rubber bullets by the police....but the protesters will use real bullets.

So there will be revenge, happy now?

Why do you say that I'd be happy with revenge? If anything I've questioned the Brown supporters' version of events.

I definitely think that level of violence is possible, but what I mean is how would any of us know? Any answer is pure speculation is all I mean.

So,..when the lead starts flying, do the police pull out the real bullets? Afterall, they do need to defend themselves.

Perhaps a bit of both. I guess I'm just wondering if people think this is genuinely going to go more bad than good once the verdict comes down.

I share the same hope. OTOH all that's going to happen if Wilson gets true billed is it's then going to go into open court and it's very likely we'll have an even bigger circus on our hands.

Memphis Police are going on alert and holding day shift officers over in preparation for any unrest here though they claim they have no specific threats...
