I can see you have either not played organized football above the peewee level, or you coach was in his/her first year of coaching. We needed to get off the field and do some half time scheming on both offense and defense. No need in risking injury to our offensive players when our plays are not doing very well and our QB and RB are getting drilled. The defense can make a couple of changes and we might just win this game.

He would not have. We needed to go in with momentum. That would have been the prudent call, playing for a fg if we were not getting the ball in second half. Plus he knows we are getting a key cog in the secondary during the second half.

If your actually a coach, maybe you can explain it to me, because I truly so not understand this concept. How would going for a field goal and pushing down the field with 3 time outs cost the team any momentum? I legitimately wanting to know.

It was to familiar. A lot like Dooley did a couple years back against Mizzou. Had time and could have tried to take a chance and at least kick a fg to win it in regulation but instead took it to OT and lost. I remember fans at neyland booing as loud as I've ever heard at the HC. I don't understand eating all our timeouts...its not like they roll over to the second half. I think its embarrassing. JMO
