Herenton, Wharton, and most elected city officials have done nothing but damage to the city by implementing a staunch "divide and conquer" regime. No progress will ever be made in that city until the fine people of Memphis realize what a detriment the people they continue to elect are to their well being.

Our fanbase is like a bunch of whipped dogs. If we are going to 'fear' SEC teams then we have no business being in the conference. Or...we can enjoy the bright future that is ahead of us.

Funny thing is he outcoached Spurrier in two consecutive meetings who is regarded as one of the better coaches in the SEC. I know it's inconvenient for you to acknowledge that though.

I don't think one can say that Muschamp outcoached him...we didn't execute in the red zone, despite having 3-4 opportunities to do so. Some of that was play-calling, a good portion of it was failure to make the play on the offense's part. Additionally, our defense outplayed their offense. If not for a lapse in protection on our end of the field resulting in a fumble, they likely never score a touchdown against us. Florida outscored us, but outcoached...I don't think so.

Not to mention two very costly red zone turnovers against Oklahoma that made that game appear much less competitive than it actually was.

Or playing Georgia neck and neck two years in a row with a VolNation proclaimed lame duck QB that didn't fit the offense.

I'd say Butch is an exceptional Gameday coach.

JMO of course.

I mean they are signing kids UT wants. Hardest thing to do is build a contender. Once it's rolling it's a lot easier to keep it going. We'll see if they can keep it going or fall off.

Ole Miss was ripe for the picking...Bad Bo was in full effect...our D repped early! Our offense? :yuck: Worley had nothing left at that point and hadn't since the Georgia game...with ANYTHING from the offense, we're fully in that game...but we all saw it. That was the lowest I've been since Dooley's final season...we're better.

If Butch actually worries about who UF hires even remotely as bad as some fans do, then that is pathetic. I can assure you he doesn't dwell on it like some of the Nancy's on here do.

Now that I have seen this offense with Dobbs I have zero doubts about Jones or even Bajakian. Prior to seeing this offense run the way it is supposed to be though I had questions. I know for sure they need to keep recruiting mobile QB's.

IDK that Smart goes anywhere. Saban is 63 and I think Smart is the HC in waiting once he decides to retire. I could see Smart maybe going to a program like UF or Michigan if he were offered but Ole Miss would be hard to be successful year in and out.

Anyone have any info on the possibility of flipping this kid? For a while I was seeing pictures with coaches and him wearing Tennessee gear...haven't seen much lately though.
