Speaking as a female....I KNOW how vindictive girls/women can be. I can see them being 'star struck' by any attention these guys paid them. I can also see them crying 'foul' once they realized they were just the flavor of the day.

RAPE is a serious accusation....and even if there wasn't one here....the damage is already been done to these young men.

Yes, I agree. I was just wondering if this was anything substantial or something that just kinda cropped up like it did during the Jameis Winston case. I think it finally came out that Winston did not have a prior relationship with his accuser.

He's busy in Ferguson waiting to lead the revolt. Meanwhile across America, people are offing each other in record numbers over nothing. $5, $10, he said she said, you looked at me wrong type of bs. Killing their brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, neighbors, yet nobody seems care.

But everyone cares about this thug all of a sudden. Video proof of the guy mugging and assaulting an innocent store clerk. A nickname "bodyguard". I'm sure he got that's because he's so nice and innocent.

Why does people keep telling us "move on and focus on Mizzou ?" LOL, like we're playing in the game and s%&t. But, you're correct, I do have game film to watch on Mizzou. Imma get right on that!!!

Wow this is not looking good for these young men. I'm not a cop or an attorney, but based on my very limited understanding of the law there has to be at least some kind of evidence before a judge will sign a search warrant. My guess would be some kind of evidence, based on the exam, that a rape did in fact occur. As I said earlier today this is America and these young men are innocent until they are proven guilty, but it's hard to give them the benefit of the doubt if there is evidence that a rape occurred (again just speculation on my part) and they are the only ones involved. It's not hard to put the pieces together...these girls were with AJ and Michael at their apartment (allegedly) and then a rape occurred at that location (allegedly). I will wait for the facts to come out, but man this looks bad.

My biggest hope is that the identity of this girl doesn't EVER come out because unfortunately there will be some radical UT fans who blame her for this whole mess. Every sports team has radical fans who take things to the extremes and it's horrible.

She will have to drop the charges to be anonymous I believe. I believe her name has to come out during trial especially if the case relies on testimony.

I think the warrant issue changes when the place being searched is the scene of a reported crime. I'm not an attorney or LEO either, but I do believe police are given greater leeway when dealing with a potential crime scene.

Couldn't disagree more. Especially at this point in time (in UT football rebuilding and with other sexual/domestic assault cases in college and NFL) we have to hold ourselves to a higher standard. CBJ hit the nail on the head yesterday with his "I'd rather be right than fast." It's a raw deal either way it plays out, but there is absolutely zero room for error on this one.
