According to YOUR statement, you have absolutely no problem allowing your daughter to party with alcohol fueled college guys till the early morning hours because it's a completely safe environment and she'll be respected and treated like a lady. In fact, you would even encourage her to do so.

If I were to give my son a rundown of how to treat a woman like a lady, the list would include things like:

Open and hold doors for her
Pull her chair out for her
If she looks cold, offer her your jacket

You know what wouldn't be on that list? Don't rape her.

Because she's a human being, and he's not a degenerate animal.

Okay. You are "explaining" to all of us that her presence at the party contributed to the alleged assault.

If you feel like it's better to offer that "explanation", then I disagree. It doesn't make your thought process any less awful.

Geez. There is a difference between legality and morality. There is also a difference between wise decision making (risk avoidance) and morality of the acts themselves.

This whole last 30 posts are blurring the hell out of these distinctions.

I'm really confused on this story myself. I can't count the number of times I was at a party, meet a pretty girl, and left with her. We both knew what we were doing. We both knew what our intentions were.
