i don't doubt if we do get edoga to go with hardin, seymour, allen, and valentine that it might cause an OT to look elsewhere.. however it might not. time will tell on that. right now what I posted is the latest on Allen whether you like the update or not.
VQ says he's still evaluating things, that he's having a difficult time finding differences between Tennessee/Georgia, and that he will make his final decision on January 4 at the Semper Fi All-American Bowl.
Tennessee is still a factor because of Butch Jones and how hard he has recruited Pat.
There's the latest, whether you like the update or not. Needs to make a final decision.. even though hes already committed. The update from Rusty basically said he was told that Allen was enjoying his visit. Its not like Allen is going to have a bad time and tell everyone it sucked, while he is still in Athens
the latest update is more like it.. also sounds like edoga won't be an issue since he has decided to stay committed to southern cal and shut down his recruitment. so that's not a concern with allen.
Allen said he's in no rush to come up with a final decision and instead will make a final, public pledge on TV at the Semper Fi All-American Bowl on Jan. 4 which will air on Fox Sports 1.
"I want to commit at the Semper Fi game because I want my family to see it," said Allen, who has family spread out across the country. "My family doesn't really see me play, they just know I'm really good at football. So, when I get at Semper Fi and get on TV I get to show them what I'm doing and where I'm going."
We're in the thick of it for Allen despite what some want to think.
This. The fact that he still needs time to come to a decision and announce where he will go to college--all the while committed to Georgia--tells me all I need to know. We are very much in it and have as good a shot as Georgia to land his signature.
I actually think we have a better shot than UGA.
When a committed players set a commitment ceremony it usually means the players is flipping.
