As I said earlier, I logged out for a bit. In what way were people name dropping? Surely it wasn't the victims names?

Well, to avoid rehashing the issue , I'll keep it short. Someone put 2 and 2 together, figured out who somebody of interest might be, and posted their name. I don't think it was maliciously, just a brain fart.

I will be careful with this, since this may have been what led down the slippery slope in the last thread.

Can someone please without included names or twitter names post the tweets that reportedly claim the story to be bs?

I don't think there ever was a link to the actual posts. It was all " I saw this posted on twitter " without giving a link or reference.

Supposedly one girl was with one of the two players. That is what created the Football forum saying AJ was in trouble and Williams was safe, and the recruiting forum saying Williams was in trouble and AJ was safe.

So if that is true, the florida girl no pressing charges...in theory should only save one of the players.

Either way, there is still one girl that plans on pressing charges.

Would you want someome close to you who's potentially been rapped named on a message board than mocked?

We have the best passionate Fanbase in College Football. That's a blessing with a curse. I have no doubt that people would find her address write her nasty letters harass here and so on.

If the courtroom is the only place a sexual assault victim's name is kept confidential, then their privacy is not being protected at all.

And, FWIW, VN posts would be admissible just like Facebook posts are admissible. Random people posting rumors is not evidence, but suppose AJ himself posted here. It would be just as admissible as cell phone texts and LinkedIn updates.

Dude I love this team and the program , but way too many of the portion of our fanbase that takes to social media are bat5**t crazy. It's not passionate. It's something else.

Its sad, pathetic really, that we can't have a conversation on this forum without someone taking it way over the top with the name calling and know it all attitudes. Calling people names knowing that there is no way in hell they would act like that or say those kinds of things to another member in real life. (without getting the hell beat out of them)

The name calling BS needs to stop. Its childish, immature and damn disrespectful. I know its easy to be the big man on a forum, but come on!

I really, really do not want to come out of this looking like the crazy portion of Florida State's fanbase in any way.
